Deadly Webs

He got a call about a missing child. And then another, and another, and another...

Abduction cases are taken very seriously by all of the parties involved. None more so than by Chase Grant, a detective in Seattle's eighteenth precinct. The clock starts the moment he gets the call from a parent, and the first twelve hours are crucial. Every move counts, and every choice matters. If he missteps, then a child might not come home. I went back to the description on Amazon to see what the 3 stories were. Ok, here's a hint, only a description of the 1st story. I can't remember anything about the 2nd and luckily just finished the 3rd so I can remember it. 1st was fine, 3rd started out ok, but the protagonist got dumber and screwed as the story went on and the ending made no sense for the people in it but was bent around to have some symbolic ending, I'm thinking maybe 6th grade level ending.
So, nothing outstanding, who makes a 3 box set of 3 outstanding stories. I'd say skip the 3rd, avoid getting mad at author manipulation and this would be ok, 3 stars. (I rate appropriately unlike what I see on Amazon which is way high. Too bad, but I've learned to not look at anything under 4.5 stars.)

profanity

Barely got into chapter 1 before the profanity started….f bomb. Probably a good story but I don’t need the language. Grow your vocabulary! Deleted from my reader.

Brilliant

I've read many books...this series far surpasses any book I have ever read... The last book was a nail biter. Read this...it will not disappoint.

Three very good stories, similar themes but with very different story lines and characters. Will definitely read more from this author.

Riveting mysteries but need to review the grammar and inconsistencies. Incorrect names were used in the first book. "Tom" when it should have been "Marcus". That is just the first book. Still reading book two, hopefully grammar is better. Need to work on spelling errors, incorrect word context, "hulled should be hauled" in book two. I feel I am reading a book that was written by middle schooler.
