4.25 - 4.5 smut-scale stars!
Looking For a Nerdy Daddy was a little misleading because I was expecting some hot daddy kink and there well…wasn’t. It was however a delicious age gap with steam to incinerate your Kindle. Whew.
Ana finds herself back in her hometown to watch her mother do a poetry reading and meets Tristan the sexy alpha librarian. They share a hot encounter but Ana has to return home and Tristan thinks he’s too old for her.
They soon find they may not be able to live without each other but will one of them make the move to make their love permanent?
This needed a bit of editing (like minuscule) but overall was super cute. Instalove and instasmut with a pretty decent plot, Looking for a Nerdy Daddy was a perfect morsel of hotness and sweetness. I will definitely be keeping an eye on new releases from this author!

Did not know this author and I don't usually read novellas but so glad I picked this up!! Super steamy, like spanking steamy and still cute and funny. Was a short, well written read but was a complete story and I liked that a lot. Will watch out for more from this author.

Holy hell. Tristen and Ana. Wow.
This book is 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ and quick. I wanted more, but I’m not sure I’d be able to handle more. It was hot. It had a plot.
Age Gaps are not normally my thing, but she’s 26 and he’s 39 so I guess it didn’t seem like THAT big of a gap. He’s under 50 and she’s almost 30. It was a gap my brain could handle and thank goodness for that.
I’ll for sure be on the look out for more by her. Few spelling and grammar errors, a few wrong words slipped in, but I’m chalking that up to it being an ARC.

I wanted to love this book so badly, and finding a kinky, hot librarian is my new fantasy in life. I loved the chemistry between Ana and Tristan and how they came together in such a playful way. They discovered their interests in the bedroom and found a dynamic that worked perfectly for them. Based on the title, I was expecting more daddy kink so I was disappointed when it wasn’t included in the story. The writing itself and editing are what prevented me from giving this books 5 stars. The writing felt rushed in some parts, so it was hard to be fully immersed in the scenes and connect with the characters. The editing felt non-existent and the book read more like a first draft than a published novella with lots of spelling and grammar issues that distracted me from the story.

This book is a short novella with a lot of spice. I don't usually go for the instant love trope, but the author did a great job of bringing the feelings of the characters out and you could feel their pull towards each other. I do feel like there could have been a little more plot in the story, but because it was meant to be a short story, it is not required to keep the story going.
To earn five stars I feel the author could have used a little bit more build up on the meet cute, I felt it was lacking a little something. Overall I enjoyed the story and read it in one sitting. If readers are looking for a quick read with some decent naughty scenes, I would recommend this book.

wow!
I love it when I find new authors, and that’s exactly who Adriana Golden is, at least to me.
This is a Insta-love, super steamy romp fest with just enough of a storyline to make things interesting.
Ana is not happy with her life, she definitely wasn’t expecting anything when she walked into her mother’s poetry reading. But you know the saying “expect the unexpected”, and that’s exactly what Tristan is!
This is a short not so sweet but really steamy story and I can’t wait to see what else Adriana writes, because I’m sure its going to be just as fabulous as this one!

Ana has dreams of finding the perfect mixture of a man. A man who could give a DD/lg relationship but also a man who she could have an intelligent conversation with. When she goes home for a quick night with her parents, she meets Tristan, the nerdy/hot librarian. They have insane chemistry, but can they get over their own hang ups to develop something long lasting.

Poorly written.
Technically the concept and the spice aren’t all that bad but it really needed a good edit. There are positional issues and cringe worthy talk. The characters do not live up to what they are supposed to be. And for anyone who does enjoy certain activities in bed, well let’s just say 3 swats ain’t gonna cut it mister. Towards the end it felt like she cut out an entire chapter because there is a weird jump. Sadly, I just wasn’t impressed and it’s a shame because the author had a good idea. The execution was just off.

As cute as it is hot
The relationship is definitely torrid between Ana who is looking for a man who is both intellectual and quite liberated, dominating, and Tristan a librarian who is no longer looking for professional and romantic disappointments. Their instalove is as impossible as it is intense. It's as cute as it is hot.

I read the blurb and was intrigued. I so wanted to like this book. But, it seems that a large part of the story was about the sexy times. I didn't really connect with the characters until I was almost 60% through the story. And then, it was only briefly 'cause we're back to the steamy parts.

Quick and steamy
Novellas can be hard to wrap up quickly without being cheesy, but this one did a pretty good job of making it happen.
The relationship between the characters is instant. No slow burn here. And it’s got spice that’s for sure.
If you are looking for something quick and hot give this a try. It’s a fun and easy way to pass some time.

Not quite what I was expecting. I thought we'd have a daddy dom but instead got a super steamy novella, full of very hot chemistry, spanking, light d/s and sex. For a short story, it was actually a complete story and the characters felt quite rounded, which made it a satisfying read. I liked it a lot and will look out for more from this author.

Short little smutty book. No real plot. “Ana and Tristan?” Sounds a lot like “Ana and Christian”. Not the most original, but that’s okay. The ‘Little Kitten’ was cute. Good palate cleanser.

Title is a little misleading, thought this would have Daddy trope or be DDLG but neither were the case! Dragged on and was a little confusing at times, in my opinion, but overall had good spice and was entertaining!
