This book was the textbook for my class many years ago and the lessons I learned from it are still as vaulable today as they were then. My copy is well worn but I will hang on to it forever. It is the basis of all my design presentations to non-artists to help them better communicate with the professional graphic designers they hire.

the greatest little design book ever! Mr Berryman handwrote the entire 46-page book himself, trying to "personalized" the look and feel of the book and therefore remove some of the daunting "mystery" of the subject as seen by many beginning student. aw right, gregg. not only he excelled in organizing the content but he also aced in explaining complex visual concepts clearly, all in a compact one or two pagers.
