This book is the only reason I learned anything in the class "Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages". Everything I learned and more is packed neatly into this slim volume that I refuse to resell. Examples of differentiated lesson plans, teaching strategies for different learning styles, and all geared towards teaching in a science classroom. Fabulous textbook. It does NOT need to be paired with the regular SIOP book, because it has a slim version of the tenants in this book.
