Extremely interesting account of heroin use and drug culture of the early 20th century beginning when heroin was available without a prescription at any drugstore. I wish I could find out who Leroy Street was because, after reading this book for the second time I realized that it was a pseudonym based on the name of a street where these events supposedly took place. The book may or may not be non-fiction but it is told as relating one person's life events.
