I have been using this book for 20 years -- beginning with the first, second and now the third edition. I like it not just for its grammatical and structural strengths but for its self-monitoring and self-awarness focus. My students can continue / have continued to use it as a reference once the class is over. Thank you, Janet Lane, for updating the book.

Textbook for Advanced Applied Grammar. Very thorough with great exercises, but a lot of dry material (but hey, it's grammar).
