Currently reading and idk how this book has soooo many positive reviews.... I downloaded this app just to write a review on this specific book.
1st, waaay to many points of view. I'm currently at 7 pov, and over 20 characters introduced. I have not a single clue of who anyone is, where anyone is at, or what's going on at the start of a new chapter. I've put this book down 3 or 4 times and thought I would try again with it, I did get further than the previous but there is nothing to hold my interest.
2nd, almost everything I read so far has soooo much unnecessary filler that this book could be cut down in half. I feel as if the bad writing is masked by the changing of plot points to feel complicated and intelligent. When in reality it's taking half of a 600 page book to develop a character who I'm still not even sure who they are. Writing more does not mean you are a good writer, a good writer should be able to get the message across with less writing and confusion.
I'm debating if I want to continue this book or not for the 4th or 5th time but I certainly won't continue the series.
I Highly suggest anyone looking into this book to check something else out as you will spend a month trying to read this and look in a mirror and feel like you just witnessed a fever dream.
