My future is gone, completely destroyed.
Every dream and every hope I had for humanity is now sitting firmly in my rearview mirror.
Life is dark.
Grim.
And after everyone I cared for was ripped away from me, all I see, all I feel, is vengeance.
The scars I wear are invisible but no less profound and can only be healed through bloodshed.
And I will shed blood.
I will hunt.
I will catch.
I will avenge my broken soul and, this time, I won’t do it alone.
With no secrets to hold me back, I welcome the day I can drop my armor and expose my heart to the one man who can handle my world.
The one man who sees no damsel, only demon.
The one who sees me for who I truly am.
I am Jordyn O’Neill and I do not come in peace.

Phenomenal ending!!!

Full Review Below:

HOT DAMN!!! These two ladies can write freaking phenomenal dark stories with amazing characters.

You MUST read One Kill before reading One Love - no ifs, ands or buts on this one.

We were left one hell of a cliffhanger in One Kill and I honestly wasn't sure if these two ladies could give J the ending she so rightly deservers. Boy, was I completely wrong.

I won't give any of the story details away but if you are looking to reading this book, then you know what happened at the end of One Kill and well, shit just keeps hitting the fan.

There is zero shortage of action and suspense in this book. There is also ALOT of spice (HOLY HOT!!!) and I thoroughly enjoy how everything plays out - EVERYTHING. I have zero complaints about this duet.

I love that these two ladies keep J real and authentic and never change her, even when things get complicated and dicey for her.

The amount of layers and the depth to these characters is perfection. These two ladies truly know how write a captivating story with characters you can't ever forget.

I cannot recommend this series enough.

✨The Review:

One Love is the second book in The Reapers duology by N.O One. This dark contemporary romance wraps up J's story, and after the gut wretching ending of the last one she needs a happily ever after.

I love J and Murphy but J and D are just another level! I loved their banter and how he doesn't take any of her crap and is always there for her. The way he brings her back from grief and helps her with Hallie is just amazing. Loved the cameos of other characters from The Escort series and the Kings of Kink book as well 😂

The ending of this not only was sweet but left some gaps for hopefully more potential books for this world! Another amazing book by these ladies 👏

I wrote this review for Saucy Reviews on Kinky Korner.
This second book in the duet continues straight from the first book, One Kill. Oh, the ending in that book was ferocious, and this book holds so many options that I was excited to read it and see where it went, especially for Jordyn and her daughter, Hallie. Holy moly, this story was amazing and everything and more I thought it would be.

These authors have given readers fair warning at the beginning of the book, so be observant of the possible triggers. This story is not for the faint-hearted, as there is quite a lot of aggression and violence, and it is graphically described. Everything is in context and as it should be, though. There is plenty of action; actually, it is practically nonstop, and so is a fast-paced book that simply captivates you, and your attention is engaged until the very end.

The introduction of a new love interest for J made me feel a little unsure before reading this story, but honestly, don’t worry because the way these authors have introduced and added him to the story is very clever. He is a terrific character, and although I really liked Murphy, he wasn’t quite right for the J we know her as now. I even questioned how J could possibly get herself out of the mess she found herself in my review for book one. Hallie is another incredible character and truly is a chip off the old block. She has so much sass it helps her to face quite a few awful situations.

So much happens in this story that I found myself glued to it and literally couldn’t put it down. I will admit there is one continual emotional roller coaster ride throughout the book, yet it isn’t doom and gloom; there’s so much hope and anticipation in the storyline it’s very cleverly written.

Plot: 5/5

One Love is the second book in The Reapers Duet by Author N.O. One. The books absolutely MUST be read in order. There are also crossover characters from The Escort and Kings of Kink series.

At the end of book one, One K1ll, we were left with the most gut wrenching of cliffhangers. I picked up the mangled remnants of my heart, duct taped it back in, poured an epic amount of comfort tea, and said ‘Let’s do this! I’m ready to be hurt again.” Then started book two. It was everything I hoped and more.

J, our incredibly strong and sassy heroine, is out for bl00d in this amazing sequel. She has nothing left to lose and everything to gain by risking it all to seek revenge on those who have wronged her. She’s used to having a little bl00d on her hands anyway so what’s a bit more? This time the unal1ving will be so much more satisfying because it’s personal. Revenge is a dish best served by a bada$$ b1sh.

Then there’s our enigmatic hero who has been watching J from afar and all too near for her liking. He’s ready to come out of the shadows and claim the woman he knows to be his. He’s not overly worried about her infamous bite, he’s into that shizz, and can’t wait to feel her teeth sink into him.

The sparks between J and her guy are pure fire. His snarky and “biting” (pun intended) personality are the stuff pant1es melt over. It was extremely satisfying to read the relationship arc between these two. The just desserts (IYKYK) being dished out throughout the book are not to be missed.

After a somewhat angsty first book, One Love was more the J, the morally grey queen of the reapers we’ve come to know and love. Vengeance is in her heart and a determination to take back her daughter. There was more from her mysterious texter – was he friend or foe? One thing is for sure, he didn’t turn out to be who I thought it would be! The action starts almost from the first page and doesn’t let up for a second with a serial killer targeting young members of the mafia, the Irish mob still lurking in the back, not forgetting the mysterious gambler Mr Wright so J had her hands full. After the loss of Murphy who I loved in the first book I did wonder how I’d feel about the introduction of a new love interest for J and especially so soon but somehow these authors managed it without making less of or demeaning J’s feelings for him. The love she’d had for him was that of a young girl, not the woman life and experience had made her. The obsessive Dmitry Novak was another morally grey character with more than a few kinks when it came to knife play and I adored his interactions with J as she swung between wanting to jump his bones or using him for target practice and getting stabby with him. He brought some levity and humour into her dark life. Their chemistry was off the charts and together they might’ve been crazy and insane, and they somehow worked but Dmitry really won my heart with the care and tenderness he showed to the still grieving Hallie. Another five-star reader from the duo that is N.O. One.

You MUST read- 𝙾𝙽𝙴 𝙺𝙸𝙻𝙻 prior to this book. The first book left off with multiple jaw dropping, heartbreaking cliffhangers. I couldn’t wait to get this book and it did not disappoint!
J is such a great FMC, she’s a total bad*ss and her past made me understand why.
I’m going to be vague because there was so much left unknown in the first book, I don’t want to spoil the duet for anyone.
This is a gritty story with quirky characters and some interesting infusions of humor. I love this duo of authors style. It’s so rare to have humor in dark, mafia romance.
In this we get action, angst, spicy chemistry and there is a great emotional aspect to the story and characters.
It does get very descriptive in the gritty parts and the spicy scenes involve things that won’t be for everyone, check the CW’s. For me it was extremely delicious, naught!ness.
I love a new character in this book; unapologetically geeky, also morally grey and a charming st@lk€r. Such a fun and unique combination, I’m absolutely in love!!
The story has some truly beautiful and swoony moments, I love the interactions between all the great characters. It’s a found family story with many other wonderful family aspects.
It also has the gritty, m@fia elements that make the story the total package.
The end was very satisfying in so many ways, I was thoroughly entertained throughout. It was amazing! I recommend this book, duet and these authors. If you want unique, gritty romance they really are doing it so well!

Nice duet

The first book was heartbreaking. I had to read this second and final part to try and justify/make peace with the story.
It had a bit of not a lot happening in the middle but ultimately was a good story.
I still don’t like the end of book one though!

Okay, I absolutely LOVED this duet. I cant wait to go onto The Escort series as I’ve heard there’s some crossover in characters.

I thought my heart would never recover after the first book but oh god was i wrong. So sad its only a duet because i bloody love these characters.

The easiest 5/5 ever

This book picks up shortly after the events at the end of book 1. Picking this up has all those memories of what happened in the first book come rushing back. To say J wants vengeance is an understatement. She's trying to find out what's going whilst trying to keep herself and everyone she cares about out of the line of fire.
J is an angry character, she's tough, she doesn't back down and she can take care of herself. This has been fast paced from the get go and despite my utter devastation at the ending of the first book, I can now see why that had to happen. J needs someone that's going to be able to handle her. Someone that will let her be who she is, but then have fun trying to make her submit in the bedroom.
Enter Dimitry. And holy Mother, where did he come from?! He's definitely going to give J a run for her money!
Their encounters have been filled with so much heat and s3xu@l tension, I thought my e-reader was going to combust! Despite this, J feels guilty about this and tries to view it as just business. Failing miserably.
D is a conundrum. He comes across as this dark, dangerous, dominant Alpha, but then underneath he's a computer geek who says things like "food is my love language". One thing is for sure though is the lengths he'll go to in order to make Jordyn happy, there's nothing he wouldn't do for her.
These two fit so well together, he's the Sunshine to her grumpy, he knows what she needs, despite her 'take no bulls**t attitude, she wants someone that will not take her crap, someone that can "put her in her place", so to speak, and take charge, when it's needed.
There was no letup in this one, with non-stop action and J and her reapers scrambling to find out what's going on.
Dimitri was definitely his own version of unhinged and he fit in so well with the reapers it was hard to picture things without him. He definitely wormed his way in and he was perfect for J! He more than proved himself time and again, especially when he went all the way to Florida himself, with just his knife! I really enjoyed reading a book with a strong FMC like J. She was strong and she never once faltered.
This was a really well written duet, I loved it! I'm really looking forward to more by these authors.

This one was one of the highly anticipated sequel for me after reading book 1, I was head over heels in love with the story and all the main characters and then my authors went and destroyed me.
I can't even express how much I have been waiting to get my hands on this one.

Firstly, I'm beyond glad to see that not only J gets her rightful vengeance but also a man who's worthy of her and with whom she can be who she is as herself.

The book picks up right from where it left off with me wrecked and wanting to see justice served.

J as always was a tough and a 𝖻𝖺𝖽𝖺𝗌𝗌 woman who's fearless and now with a thirst for revenge is double the danger quotient.
What J never saw coming was a mystery Stalker who is helping her while making her question as to who he might be.

I had freaking fun meeting Dmitry Novak as Oh my goodness was a Crazy but Heart-melting swoony man who would go to any ends for his "Little Demon"😉

I was smiling constantly over not only the way he would banter and irritate J but also how protective he was and also one heck of a tech genius, always one step ahead.

Their Chemistry together is insanely Hot and their filthy times together will melt your Kindle.🥵🌶️🌶️

Dmitry Novak was a mysterious surprise that barges in unknowingly and captures your heart with his nerdy 𝗌𝖾𝗑iness and crazy antics including his devastating smirks and killer looks.😍🔥

Ahhh... I have to say though that be prepared for also some heartbreak and lots of action where this rollercoaster ride is concerned.

That ending was everything though and I'm feeling so content and happy right now.
I felt bittersweet but more so, joyous as our authors gave us the perfect ending. Sigh!!❤️❤️

Jordyn O’Neill is the only woman for me. She isn’t the North Star to my heart, she’s my entire fucking compass. No matter which direction she points to, I’ll be there with her.

This was everything!

Tropes:
Mafia x Irish mob, revenge, stalker, reverse grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers, badass stabby FMC, obsessive MMC, suspense, secrets, tragedy, SPICE.

“I won’t call you a good girl - because you’ll never be good, but you are fucking unreal. My bad little demon.”

ARC review:
An amazing, eventful, heart-wrenching, emotional and action-packed conclusion to this duet. I was very anxious to see how this book would unfold giving the ending to the first book - anything could happen, and it sort of did… I was definitely surprised throughout reading, but the story was just so perfect; for J’s character, the plot and the romance.
I had no idea how the authors would include romance in this one, but it was done so well, without diminishing the first book, which was a concern of mine before reading.

J’s story in this book can be summarized using one word - Vengeance! It was intense and suspenseful and there were a lot of twists, turns and secrets that had me at the edge of my seat. I just couldn’t put the book down, I needed to know what would happen.

I am quickly becoming a huge fan of the author(s) and I’m so happy they fulfilled their promise of putting my heart back together again after it broke in book 1. It was surprising, but very beautiful and true to character.
J is a complete badass and I will forever be her biggest fan. She is complex and layered and with everything she as been through it’s even more impressive and I just admire her so much; her heart, fire, growth and love. I wasn’t easy for her, but with the help of her found family (seriously so many great characters) she finally got her vengeance and a HEA.

This is Part 2 of this duet and you absolutely must read One Kill first or you’ll miss out on so many important pieces. After the way One Kill ended I had no clue how anything would be able to work out and be okay, although I had faith it was beyond difficult because of how attached I got to Murphy. I can honestly say that I am relieved and happy after finishing One Love. As much as I loved Murphy and how incredible he was, we met someone who was also incredible but surprisingly fit with J in ways I didn’t realize she needed and it is everything!
Jordyn had been through hell and all she wants is to get vengeance and her daughter back. However, her stalker is absolutely set on being there every step of the way and making everything easier for her, even when J’s objections are quite lethal. It was incredibly easy to fall for Dmitry with his odd geeky, yet dark and twisted, personality and his ability to keep his humor through just about everything.
There were twists, turns, revelations, and losses that were blindsiding but done with such finesse you were able to accept it even when your emotions were running high.
As usual I loved seeing glimpses of characters from previous stories and seeing their progress. I also can’t wait for so much more in this world!

Every time No One rips out my heart and feeds it to me in the first part of someone’s story, I’m always convinced they can’t fix it. But god, they prove me wrong every single time.

After Js tragic cliffhanger in One Kill, I didn’t expect to fall in love with Dimitry, he’s unhinged, forward and he takes what he wants unapologetically. And what he wants is J. J is at a stage in her life where everything around her feels like it’s falling apart and she’s vulnerable but guarded and the way Dimitry navigates himself around the obstacles she presents by being consistent whilst also forcing proximity is brilliant. It also helps he’s funny as well as filthy as hell.

It has everything you want it to have, spice, plot and a whole lot of action and plot twists. You never really know what to expect with a NO ONE novel apart from if you think it’s going in a certain direction… it’s not.

If you don’t think you can forgive Blondie and Brunette for part one… trust me when I say they make up for it in part two.

Ok, after reading One Kill (book 1), I was very upset with The Blonde & The Brunette, the cliffhanger was harsh to say the least. But I am thrilled to say that they have redeemed themselves with book 2. I could not put this book down, which I expected because once I pick up a book by these two my outside world gets put on hold. I gladly fall in this world and love every minute.

We know J, we love her, she does not put up with anything, she knows her worth and charges tax, and men are lining up to pay it. But in this book J is broken, but even broken she is a bada$$ who takes care of her found family. But who is willing to stand up and take care of J when she won’t admit she needs it and fights against it?

Read this series, yes you need to read One Kill first, but it is not a hardship. This series is fast paced, action packed and filled with all the things we love. Or at least it’s all the things I love.

Oh wow!!! I loved the first book One Kill I think I read it in one sitting and you must!!! Must!!!! Read that one before diving into this one as One Love follows on....and after that ending in One Kill I was ready and waiting for this book.

I absolutely love the main female character J she's someone you don't wanna mess with, she can look after herself!! I don't wanna say too much of the story as I believe with this duet you need to go in blind. This has more action, more spice, and more suspense! Honestly hands down one of the best books I've read in a long time. I love that J can look after herself and these two authors have made her real even when things get tough for her she's kept authentic and true to her character and I love that the authors have made her like that.

I can't recommend this series so far so many twists and turns , so much happening on every page you'll never be bored that's for sure.

THE STALKER AND HIS LITTLE DEMON

One Love concludes J's story. It's beautifully written, intense, gritty at times and again, consuming. I just love the way we were introduced to J's stalker.

“Coincidence is the nightlight we use when truth is the monster under the bed.”

He proves to be exactly what she needs to move past her grief and forward toward the life she deserves.

"Jordyn O’Neil is my drug, my obsession, my demon queen, and I will worship her like the goddess she is for all time."

J has very definite trust issues so for her to put her faith in someone is a big thing. But to also trust someone with Hallie makes it an even bigger thing. D proves his worth over and over.

"I’ll fight for us both. I’ll hand you the sword when it’s time for you to slay your dragons then wash the blood from your body.”

J's journey is heartbreakingly beautiful, extremely emotional and absolute perfection! These authors have definitely done great justice to these characters.

This book picks up where the last one left off - yeah that killer cliffie!

J is left picking up the pieces left after what happened during book 1 (no spoilers in case you haven't read that one yet) and the only thing that can pull her out of her grief is her quest for revenge

And what a quest it was, she ends up getting much more than she bargained for whilst searching for answers and payback

The steam in this book hits another level. And I. Was. Here. For. It

These ladies really know how to keep up on our toes, the breadcrumbs had me hooked and I just couldn't wait to find out where this story was going to lead J

It was beautiful watching J grow, trying to find her feet with her relationship with her teenage daughter, and a reverse grumpy/sunshine romance I was here for every single step of it!

Another fantastic addition to this world!

One Love ticks all of the boxes of a fantastic book:

Great writing ✅️
Beautifully written characters ✅️
Emotional rollercoaster ✅️
New book boyfriend ✅️
Spice 🔥🔥🔥✅️

I absolutely loved this book. It was a perfect follow on from One Kill. We got to see more of the J we have grown to know and love, and despite seeing more of her dark side, I love her even more. I wasn't expecting another love interest, but damn am I happy that D is now in my life! He couldn't be more perfect, and he is everything J and Hallie needed.

I couldn't put this down once I started, and I love the humour and light heartedness that peppers the story despite its dark undertones and steamy romance and sex.

This is my first read of the year, and its started with a bang. I am so so excited to see what N.O. One has in store for 2024.

So. Freaking. Good!

Every single thread is plucked and addressed, with revenge so sweet and satisfying you’ll want to read this book forever. J is one of my favorites, I love how independent she is and how she has grown emotionally. D surprised me in all the best ways, I’ve never met a MC quite like him and I definitely need more! He’s alpha and controlling just like the other MCs we’ve met in this world but also adorable and sweet. The ending for this one will give you all the feel goods and I love how respectful of Murphy this entire book is. Lots of twists and turns I didn’t see coming made the excitement ramp up, and I loved the action and edge of your seat moments - flipping pages like a crazy person too impatient to see what happens next. And the steam is hot perfection - I loved how unique each encounter was and the banter back and forth. A definite must read!

I didn’t know how N.O One was going to solve the heartache from One Kill and honestly, they did just that.

After all that J has been through, shes still battling on, determined to save the only person she really has left, in her eyes.
That is, until in walks D.
With his stalking tendencies, persistence, brilliant humour and devotion to J, he brings out another side of J we are yet to see. D takes J bloody knifes and all. Realising that J and Hallie are a 2 for 1 package, like the absolute boss he is, of course he takes it all in stride and never batting an eye.

N.O One pulled it out of the bag by introducing Dmitry AKA PIMFA. He is 100% my new favourite book boyfriend.

Such a great conclusion to J's story!
Talk about twists and turns and some new revelations. This book will keep your attention from start to finish! There was definitely a few surprises for me.
There was action, suspense, filled with so many different emotions and some steam.
J continued to prove she was a bad*ss boss. I loved her.
I can honestly say I was happy about Dmitry. His crazy and affections were just what she needed. They both fit perfectly together.
I think this was a great duet, with a great ending!!

Oh.My.GREATNESS! This was the perfect ending to this duet! These girls have such a magnificent writing style, you get sucked in and wanting more. The world building, the characters, the twists, turns, darkness, angst, spice…EVE-RY-THING 🤌🏻💋!! I loved every second of both books. Now I must go devour everything else they’ve written. Start with One Kill and read in order. 😉 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

absolutely amazing

N.O. One has done it again! They have an amazing way of drawing you into their characters worlds, to the point you have no concept of time and have no idea what day it is. This book was no exception.

J is fierce, she knows it, and I love her for it. Dmitry is everything she needed, even though she didn’t know it. They have the best banter, amazing chemistry and the spice is spectacular. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and I loved every minute of it!

OMG , I loved this book. It fixed my broken heart , after the first book I didn't think that would happen but it did. The Hero is so swoon-worthy and everything J needs and so much more. This book once again was phenomenal , action packed and full of so many good times. It was a perfect ending for J , Hallie and my new favourite guy from these two incredible authors. I can't wait for more books in the future from these two. Amazing five-star read that I would definitely recommend.

One of the best duets I have ever read. The speed at which I devoured these books is insane. I wasn't sure how it was possible to move past the ending of One Kill, but the authors executed it perfectly. I felt like I was in a book slump after finishing because I wasn't sure what I could read next that could compare. Every single time the authors give an amazing story with the perfect amount of darkness, steam, and crazy.

A wonderful twist on a mafia romance

This isn't your standard mafia book series for sure - it is so much more. A strong female MC with a pension for getting what she wants falls for a man just strong and crazy enough to be her match in every way. No matter the cost he never lets her down proving that no matter what she thinks, he is the one for her.
MUST read series that ends in a HEA!

Fab conclusion to the story.

I enjoyed this second instalment to the series. Hallie's grandparents have taken her to live with them. J decides not to challenge them on this decision as she will be safer with them, for the time being. D is growing in her as he tries to convince her of his feelings. There are still people after her. She is still trying to find out who killed her parents and Hallie's dad. She might have to look a bit closer to home. Hot read.

I'm one happy reader..

I'll have to say at first I felt like it was a betrayal to Murphy but I kept going and there's so much respect for him..im so happy for her (I don't want to ruin it for others) she and her daughter deserves it after all the craziness that went down! These two books are the first ones I've read from this author, and now I'm excited to read more! What is crazy is that I'm not a fan of the mafia trope, but I really enjoyed this!
