If nothing else, this book can save you a lot of time browsing various blogs and watching dubiously informative presentations. The author obviously did that for you, and all in all it actually works as a book. The usefulness of the book varies depending on your level of expertise, but even if you are very well informed about the subject you can still get some value out of it. Especially good part is the one describing various possible jobs in IT security. That said, the book is in need of a refreshing as the field was growing exponentially in the last few years.

Though lacking any kind of depth, can be a starting point for those, who are quite new to the IT security. Some good advices on the job-searching process.
