Well let's see shall we?
Here's your chance to step up to the podium (metaphorically speaking of course, chances are you'll be sitting somewhere very comfortably with either a mug of tea or a roll of Andrex within easy reach) put that knowledge to the test, and see just how far you can go in a genuine four-round Pointless ordeal.
Right, if everyone's ready, let's play Pointless...
An English actor, television and radio presenter, and singer, best known as one half of the comedy duo Armstrong and Miller and as host of the BBC TV game show Pointless.
A good read, and also a very good source of questions and answers for running your own Pointless quizzes. Easy to pass the time away with this book, especially if you have someone with you to have a competition with. Just go through each question page by page. Endless fun, and improves your general knowledge at the same time.
We will be running our version of "Pointless Families" over Christmas using questions from the book!!
One of my Dad's books, passed to me to bookcross. I love a good quiz and I love this TV version. It was great fun working through this book and seeing if I could find that all important Pointless answer. It's also a little more than a quiz book, as there are lots of little asides by both Alexander Armstrong and Richards Osmand, both of who are very funny. Definitely worth dipping in and out of to pass those odd moments of free time.
I love the show Pointless and found this book very interesting. I particularly love the jackpot question about Top 40 singles released by the Manic Street Preachers; I fucking aced that question!
A good selection of questions from the show. My sister and I played it together, but it could also make a good alternative to the board game for a solo player.
