I am revisiting this book after reading it several years ago. I don't think I got it then but, after learning about the law of attraction and the power of staying positive, I am getting it now. It gives excellent examples of using positive language in everyday life.

As we proponants of the Law of Attraction know, what you focus on grows. If you focus on the positive and can develop a habit of using positive language, you can change your life.

This book could easily be re-titled "Positive Talker" instead of "Power Talker."

I originally picked this book up when I was employed in tech and found Walther's suggestions easy to understand and examples easy to visualize. I worked in a dynamic team of intellectuals with egos easily bruised and this book was a huge help in developing non-offensive communications skills. Most folks don't like hurt feelings or saying the wrong thing unintentionally.

While this book is out of print, I recommend searching it out at your local used book store, ebay or Amazon.
