With honor, pride, and privilege …

It takes a brave person to be a Griffin Rider, and an even braver person to hold the Chryer's Crest and be a leader. But Jordan doesn't know about any of these things. She's a normal girl with a normal house and a normal cat (whose name just happens to be Mr. Marmalade).

When Jordan wakes up on Monday morning, she thinks it's going to be a day like any other. She certainly never expects to find a bird made of fire in her garden shed, and she's absolutely flabbergasted to encounter a griffin on that very same day! Of course, the most interesting things can show up in the most unexpected places. Jordan is destined for greatness, and her courage is needed to protect not only the world she loves, but also another that she never even knew existed.

With the help of Brixus, the Prince of Griffins, Jordan must prove that sometimes, it takes an outsider to lead the way.

About the author

C.M. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn't mind - especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. has decided to have herself committed.

She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. When she's not vacuuming fur off of her couch, C.M. can be found with her nose buried in a book or her eyes glued to a computer screen. She's the author of over thirty novels - romance, new adult, fantasy, and young adult included. Please, come and join her inside her crazy. There's a heck of a lot to do there.

Oh, and Caitlin loves to chat (incessantly), so feel free to e-mail her, send her a Facebook message, or put up smoke signals. She's already looking forward to it.

This was an interesting book with very interesting characters. Jordan, Sophia & Ethan gets sucked into another world they didn’t know even existed. I’ve read a lot of CM’s books and this is the least pg lol

This is a fanciful tale of wonder and magic as Jordan learns what it means to become a Griffon Rider that holds the Chryer's Crest. I've read many different books from this author, and I never thought that I would see the day where I found a book from this author that I would be comfortable with my child reading (even though I love them, I guess I'm a major mama bear), but I can't wait to read this book out loud to my son during bedtime. I'm a bit glad we're almost done with the last book. ;)

This is a fantastic children's book that I can easily see girls and boys both enjoying. The story is fast paced and engaging, perfect for short attention spans. I had so much fun reading it alone as an adult, that I can't wait to see my son's face as I read to him about the flaming birds, griffons, and magical swords.

I would definitely recommend this book for parents with small children!

My son and daughter love this book reading it to them every night chapter by chapter they fell in love with the Griffin 's and the world they live in. I never thought my kids would be hearing a story written by CM Stunich. This shows what an amazing author she is to be able to write so many different story's in so many categories. The only hard thing was having to stop reading when they would fall asleep I wanted to read ahead but it was worth the wait to be able to travel into the story with my kids.

Awesome kids book

I'm going to have my kids read this next. I believe they'll enjoy it as much as I did. I'm also going to get the next one so that they can enjoy the rest of the story.
