This superb album begins with a fascinating 60-page introduction, in Russian and English on facing pages, numerically keyed in the margins to the following color plates. Next are the 203 exquisite full-page color plates depicting the icons, each with titles, period of creation from the first half of the 12th through the 17th Century, and current gallery location, both in Russian and English.
