Maurice Kanbar offers a straight-forward approach to dealing with inventions. Kanbar bridges the gap between the world of business and the world of the inventor. I had the great honor of speaking with Mr. Kanbar several years ago while I was in San Francisco. I was very impressed with Mr. Kanbar's opinions on invention and innovation.
And, yes he really did invent the chemical process for SKYY Vodka!

This book offers practical advice and inspirational entrepreneurial stories from the inventor of SKYY Vodka. Anyone interested in innovation would enjoy this book.
I felt some of the advice for patent research was out of date, although not a surprise given the publishing date. The author presents a binary choice for inventors- license or manufacture. In the past couple of years, additional alternatives have arisen such as www.quirky.com. A revised edition with commentary on new innovation models would be interesting.
