From Best-selling Contemporary Western Fiction author comes a new angsty, heartbreaking, women’s fiction romance series. Some stories are never meant to happen…but they do. The moment I laid eyes on him, my heart forged a new beat. His touch healed the ache buried inside me, and he gave me a reason to breathe for the first time in a long time. It wasn’t rational, but that didn’t stop it from happening. People warned me about Ever Christianson. They told me he was dangerous, a man who wanted for nothing. That included getting tangled up with a woman, but it was so easy to ignore the warning signs whenever he touched me. He had the power to wreck me…yet, I destroyed him. When the truth came out, his sins and secrets risked both our lives. After that, there was no going back. Ever.

My current adventure has me living in Idaho with my own gray-bearded hero, who’s put up with my shenanigans for over thirty years, and he doesn’t mind all my book boyfriends. This story totally took my emotions in such a way that it was just so far beyond exhilarating and I loved every second of it!Absolutely stunningly brilliant writing skills by Kelly Moore!
Noah and Ever are two very complex, unique, and likable characters and they will stay with me a long time.
Hold on for an incredible and special experience with Never Ever!!!
I can’t recommend this book enough! I’m so excited to see what happens in part two!!!!
I don’t normally like cliffhangers but this story is so worth it!!!
Never Ever is TWISTED A page turning read with plenty of exciting twists and turns that toyed with my emotions leaving me wanting more from the cliffy ending. It's intense with secrets, lies, danger, heartache and drama that has me eager for the continuation to this twisted story.
Loved the book! It was so heartbreaking hearing about Noa and how the love of her life died. The poor thing hadn’t really lived for two years. Her sister called her and told her she needed to come back to New York as she had something important to talk to her about. Noa would do anything for her sister, plus she needed to do something with her old home. I can’t imagine how shocked she was when she found out the restaurant her husband used to own has a large note been called. As she works in the restaurant she notices a very handsome man that can’t take his eyes off her. She does something so out of character with Ever, the man from her restaurant, that could have been a good thing or not. Only time would tell. There were so many secrets that people were hiding. There was tragedy and love. There were times I really disliked a few people. Ms. Kelly drew so many emotions out of me while I was reading the book. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.
✨PR Book Mail Review✨ Noa returns back to the city where she shared a life with her husband. Where his restaurant is still loved by so many in the city. It’s where a lot of happy memories were created but as we learn, horrible memories as well.
When she walks through those doors again after a few years, Ever catches her eyes. As she catches his. But she’s warned that Ever is a guy she should not get mixed up with.
Who doesn’t love what’s forbidden? They never said there was nothing wrong with testing the waters.
So testing she does.
Unfortunately, Ever didn’t decide who his father was. Created by a man who is heartless, ruthless, abusive, and in the mafia. Ever is locked into a family he wants nothing to do with.
As time goes on. When secrets are revealed, attraction and feelings grow. We see how Noa and Ever can’t have what they both long to add to their lives.
From tears, heartbreak, and brokenness. Can these two build the lives they know they deserve? Can Ever walk away from his family? Will Noa finally let go and move on?
“Never say Never. There’ll come a time when we find each other again, and when I do, I won’t let you go.”
Grab Never Ever to find out what happens between these two.
Never Ever: Damaged Hero is book 1 in the Never Ever series by Kelly Moore and is a cliffhanger…
What a heartbreaking loss for Noa and trying to survive and move on. When her sister calls things become more complicated and then she meets Ever. With more secrets being revealed, there’s tears, tragedy, an emotional roller coaster ride and much more… Can’t wait for the next book to find out what happens with Noa and Ever!
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Wow. Shocked by how much I enjoyed this book. Wasn’t too sure what I was getting into with this but it hooked me! And that ending?! Ughh. Need to dive in to the next book asap! Ever was such likable MMC. Wasn’t cringy or annoying. I loved they there was no miscommunication. Noa was also a strong FMC and stood her ground and wasn’t a weak & fragile character which I was very glad for considering everything she went through. This was a new to me author and I’m a fan of the writing and will def look into more of their work!
Never Ever # Damaged Hero#1 by Kelly Moore I have been reading Kelly's books now for a few years, mainly her last three romance series, which are different from Never Ever. Different in the way of Never Ever being more intriguing, a mafia romance that should not truly happen in their lives, as it could only put them and the ones they love in danger. This is a cliffhanger, though the next book Never Ever After will be released soon after this. This has been brilliantly written by Kelly, a lot of emotion, and care has been added to the story that has the reader wanting more. I was engaged from the very beginning and couldn't put the book down, I'm looking forward to reading the next, my question: where do Ever and Noa go next? will they be safe? or will Ever's father have them both Killed? ( I hope not, they make a lovely couple) This is my honest review, though my words do, will not do the book the justice it deserves. However, I will say that any book from Kelly Moore will never disappoint the reader. I Strongly recommend Never Ever.
Noa hadnt really lived the past few years after her husband dies, but when her sister call her back home she meets Ever, a man who cant control his legacy, nor can he hide who he is forever, but will Noa and Ever get to be? that cliffy will have you craving book 2! with heartbreaks, emotion, desires, drama and more.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was my first read from this author and I enjoyed it very much. There were some twist and turns that I did not see coming. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
This book was gripping from beginning to the end. It is action-packed with many twists and turns. It is unpredictable. I fell in love with Ever and Noa. Their past trauma made them broken people. The unanswered questions had me heartbroken for them. The ending will blow you away! I can't wait to read the next book!
Noa has lost the love of her life in a tragic event. She’s barely existing but when her sister asks her to return to their hometown, she has to face ghosts of the past and memories and discover a few secrets that she knew nothing about that will rock her world. Just how well did she truly know her husband? Once she’s home she meets Ever, a man she finds herself strangely attracted to but Ever comes with his own secrets and baggage that could destroy any chance of a relationship before it has a chance to bloom.
Never Ever was so not what I expected from a mafia romance. It’s the first book in what is looking like it’s going to be an angsty and emotional duet from Kelly Moore but with all the tension and suspense of a great thriller. With a story filled with twists and turns, that will suck you right in from the start, putting you through a whole gamut of emotions before culminating in a cliffhanger that’ll have you wanting to throw your kindle at the wall. Fortunately, the second book is due for release soon and I can’t wait for the conclusion of Noa and Ever’s story in Never Ever After.
I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down.
Tropes : ✅angsty ✅tragic past ✅mafia ✅danger ✅billionaire
This book is book 1 of the duet. The FMC, Noa , is a widow whose husband was tragically murdered. The MMC, Ever, is a businessman working to overcome his tragic past and separate himself from the family business. Ever and Noa meet when she’s called back to town by her sister, Sofia, as Noa finds out her husband took out a loan. Ever has his own circumstances to overcome. This book is an emotional roller coaster it’s lots of twists and turns. Will Ever and Noa be able to be together and overcome their circumstances? Will tragedy strike again? This book ends on a cliffhanger that has you guess what is going to happen next
Noa and Ever, two lonely souls. Noa is a widow, who witnessed her husband murdered, and is the owner of his restaurant. She finds out two years after his death that he borrowed money from a mob family and they are foreclosing on the loan. She needs a bunch of money quick. Ever is part of a crime family but doesn't bear the family name. They encounter each other at the restaurant and are insanely attracted to each other. They agree to a no-strings one night stand, but it doesn't work out that way. One of those books that you can't see a possibility of a happy ending, and that's where we end up. So so good and worth waiting for the next book. Loved it and shed a tear or two.
It's one of the best yet by Kelly Moore. She nailed these characters and their personalities. Ever and Noa are both fighting the same crime family. However, neither one realizes it. Noa is back in NYC two years after her husband's death. She meets Ever along the way. As she finds out more about her late husband, things seem to spiral. She clings to Ever. He has a very hatred toward his father. This is a duet, so yes, it ends on a cliffhanger. However you won't be disappointed. I am ready for book two.
Highly recommend 👌

Suspenseful romance is always one of my favs and I’m never leaving my mafia romance era so this book was perfect! My heart hurt so much for Noa - you could feel her pain - but I’m so happy she finds Ever. She has so many bad things going on and she stays strong and keeps pushing! I love how they are slowly healing together until the wild end! I immediately downloaded book 2 and I’m reading it now!
Read if you love: 💜 mafia romance 💜 hidden identity 💜 insta lust 💜 billionaire 💜 tragic past 💜 angst!
If you want a book that is an absolute amazing read, but will destroy your heart at the same time, then Never Ever is the book for you. It was heartbreaking reading about Noa and how the love of her life died. Like, talk about a book making you ugly cry. When Noa's sister calls, things become more complicated, but Noa meets Ever. There are so many secrets, tears, tragedy and so much more. I need the next book because I want to know what happens between Noa and Ever.
Noa and Ever’s story is like no other. A twisted romantic suspense with so many secrets and lies. It also had family drama in spades. I’m a huge fan of strong female characters and Noa is the epitome of strength in the middle of firestorm. This is a duet with a cliffhanger ending that will leave you wanting book two immediately. I can’t wait to see how their journey ends.
Thank you to the author and Grey's team for the ARC
Never Ever is a city Mafia book that is a little unique than other Mafia books as MMC wants nothing to do with the family, and the FMC went into as an outsider. This is not bad, just unique.
Went too fast and wasn't really my cup of storyline, but it was good!

This is the first book that I've read from this author and book 1 in the Damaged Hero Duet NEVER EVER #1 and ends on a massive cliffhanger. This is a forbidden, billionaire romance, mafia romance, second chance romance, angsty, tragic past, hidden identify and alot of nail biting suspense.
This is Noa and Ever's story.
Noa is a widow and has been through so much and after returning to the city after having her ripped out she is trying to piece her life together and move on alittle. After a call from her sister Noa comes home she'll do anything for the people she loves, being back is how she meets Ever. Ever is a powerful man who knows he can't hide who he is forever or who his family is.
This book will really pull on your emotions and make you feel it all, a total rollar coaster of emotions you will feel through these pages. These characters are so broken and in need of healing each other. My heart broke for all Noa has been through you could feel her pain through the pages. This story is written well and flows throughout. It is is full of secrets and lies and betrayal and so much drama, many twists and turns and real shockers that the reader will not see coming at all. This is a slightly different feel mafia romance as Ever doesn't have a great relationship with his family he'd like to dettach from. I did love these characters and they were really easy to connect with and I was totally rooting for them in the hopes that they could both find the love they deserve. You will be gripped hoping they both do. Will they or won't they? I was hooked right in and that ending, WOW. This book is a complete must read that I highly recommend.
The moment Noa laid eyes on him, her heart forged a new beat. His touch healed the ache buried inside of her, and he gave her a reason to breathe for the first time in a long time. It wasn't rational, but that didn't stop it from happening. People warned her about Ever Christianson. They told her he was dangerous, a man who wanted for nothing. That included getting tangled up with a woman, but it was so easy to ignore the warning signs whenever he touched her. He had the power to wreck her...yet, she destroyed him. When the truth came out, his sins and secrets risked both of their lives. After that, there was no going back. Ever.
This book was one I am so happy to have come across. I honestly don't know how I've ever not heard of this author before. Her creative talent was unparalleled. This journey took my emotions on one hell of a rollercoaster. I was glued to every page and every detail. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat as I followed each twist and turn. I have no doubt that this story and these characters will stay with me. I can't wait to read part two of their story. I highly recommend this read. This is my honest opinion, freely given.
Ms. Kelly is a new to me author. The blurb to the book had me interested. With nothing to lose and everything to gain I delved into the book. I enjoyed it very much. But did not realize it ends with a cliffhanger. Which is okay. I know have another book to look forward to reading by Ms. Kelly. I really liked the characters, Noa and Ever. Noa is very down to earth and relatable too. She is a hard worker, dedicated to her job. But also to her family and friends. She’s kind and generous. Ever was the surprise for me. He is not what I excepted. He is a complex man. And entangled in an intense and intricate dynamics. I loved his protective nature when it came to Noa. Wanting to keep her safe at all costs. Their attraction for each other can be felt from the moment they meet. And it just builds from there. It’s sexy and steamy. The passion and lust between them is hot. And as they spend more time together their bond grows more intimate and more deeper. But there are so many secrets, lies, betrayals and mysterious happenings taking place. The hidden agendas and the discoveries that will come to light can either break them or make them. So I’m waiting to read Never Ever After to find out.
I wasn't sure what kind of character the "damaged hero" would be in this book but, I fell instantly in love with Ever as apparently did Noa despite both of us trying to resist. I did not realize when I started that this book that it is a two-book series and now I am breathlessly awaiting the next book, Never Ever After. ever is a good man who was secretly raised by his mother away from the horrible sperm donor that he later finds is his father. Once his father steps into his life, Ever undergoes unimaginable horrors and abuse to the point he believes himself to be a damaged monster. A chance meeting with Noa Sutton not only changes his life but hers as well but it is revealed that their "chance" encounter turns out not to be one since without either of them knowing, their lives were connected years prior. The book ends in a huge cliffhanger and I can't wait to find out what happens next for Ever, Noa, her sister Sophia, his best friend Luca and Gina and Bruno who were integral to this original story. I hope they appear in the next book as well.
This is a beautifully written story about two broken people that never should have met but do when Noa is called back to New York by her sister, Sofia. Sofia manages The Italian Oven, the restaurant that Noa’s murdered husband, Drake, started. Noa and Ever first meet when he’s at the restaurant with two men he despises, his father and his half brother. Drake had unknowingly taken a large note out against the restaurant and the investor is now calling for it to be paid. Noa is also there to get their apartment ready to sell. While there, she learns a heartbreaking secret, Drake had an affair. The chemistry between Noa and Ever is enough to melt your kindle, but it’s only for one night or is it? As I read this book, I fell in love with these two characters and hoped they would get a happily ever after, but circumstances prevent that for now. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I sure do hope that a few people get exactly what they deserve and that Noa and Ever can find a way to be together safely. Yes, this book ends on a cliffhanger, which I didn’t like, but readers, good news is we only have to wait a week to get the conclusion to this must read book.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Never Ever : Damaged Hero Speechless, yelling outta pure frustration, on the edge of my seat devouring every single word , laughing, smiling, crying and rooting so freaking hard . Never Ever was such a wonderfully written and emotionally charged love story filled with angst , humor , witty banter , heartbreaking and heartfelt moments, love , passion, pain , drama , obstacles, wonderfully written characters, family , friendships and so much more . Being that this was my very first time reading Kelly Moore i honestly was not so sure what to expect ( well I have without a doubt found a new favorite author . Noa our heroine has been through a terrible tragedy the loss of her husband that has left her broken and struggling to move forward. Ever Christianson comes into her life when she least expects it , turns it on its axis and changes everything. Can two people who are so different find love together? a few seconds ago
Noa is back in New York to tie up loose ends after her husbands tragic death but a chance meeting with a strange but handsome, Ever, leads to more questions and deep dark secrets that unravel at each turn. Ever has never opened up to anyone in his life and doesn’t plan on it any time soon. He is tied to his father and the family business but finds he is craving his escape more and more he gets to know Noa. Can they truly find happiness against all odds or are they fated to never be together now that the lid of Pandora’s box is wide open.
This is story of secrets, deception, murder and of course true love.
Loved it so much and could not put it down. This book is part of a duet and this first part ends leaving you wanting more and more.
I read this book voluntarily for an honest review.
Noa returns to her hometown after losing her husband in a tragic way, and she is just going through the motions of living, but she soon finds out that the restaurant her husband owns is in trouble, and when secrets are revealed, she is left questioning if she ever really knew him. Ever has his ow secrets and baggage, but from the moment Noa sees him, she has a reason to live. This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with secrets, revelations, loss, grief, suspense, twists, tension, healing, turmoil, and is an entertaining, haunting, unpredictable, and steamy addictive page turner. I can’t wait to read more. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
After the tragic death of her husband the painful memories drove Noa from New York until her sister needs her help with the restaurant that Noa’s husband owned. It is there that she meets Ever and she wasn’t prepared for a relationship with any man but especially a man with his reputation.
Ever is a man who finds himself embroiled in a situation he doesn’t want and a family he wants to distance himself from. The chemistry and connection between them are undeniable however there are multiple reasons they can’t be together.
This is the first part of Noa and Ever’s story and it is both heartbreaking and suspenseful as outside forces are determined to keep them apart and I am looking forward to what the future holds for this couple.
This is one of those books that tees up the next one really well- I was left wanting to know more about what happened with Noa before she met Ever, the secrets he holds with his family, and how they ultimately could end up together! The book kept me engaged really well and I liked that it was relatively short since it is a duet- about 250 pages total. This book had a lot of great supporting characters- from family to even the villains and those in between (loved Luca), and while I did enjoy reading Noa and Ever's story I was not as big of a fan of the MMC. I just prefer one with a little more anti-hero and he was too sad all the time. I am guessing he gets a bit less on the emotional side for book 2 but overall this was a good, angsty contemprorary romance with a hint of mafia.
