Crawling with bugs to find, count, and talk about, a fascinating picture book provides hours of puzzle-solving fun as youngsters spot beetles scurrying across desert dunes, butterflies flitting through the jungle, and more. Original.
My son absolutely loved this book. Already zoology (and entomology) fans—Hello Wild Kratts, National Geographic Kids—we were fascinated by the diverse number of little critters covered in this book. The "Look and Find" portion is nice but not super challenging. The beauty of the book is in its illustrations of the bugs and their environment, and the natural desire to read more about the interesting bugs we spotted. And there are so many. The eighty-eight butterfly, slant faced grasshopper, and cartwheeling wheel spiders are all fascinating and highlight the wondrous biological diversity in our tiny planet.
