This is a straightforward, accessible introduction to basic Christian beliefs rather than a book offering fresh insights. Roger Carswell covers foundational topics such as God's personal nature, the different perspectives of the four Gospels, and Jesus' emphasis on faith over good works. While everything is clearly explained, I didn't find much that was new or particularly thought-provoking. That said, if you're new to Christianity, exploring the faith, or looking for a simple overview, it serves that purpose well. For readers already familiar with these core teachings, it may feel quite elementary. A decent starting point, but not one that left a lasting impression.

Super short but helpful book for those who are exploring the Christian faith. Carswell makes the case that we should believe in God because he has told us everything that we need to know in his Word.
