A boring and uncreative text that delivers what the cover says. It fluctuates between the very basic and the more complicated, but overall the information is there. If you can concentrate and don't need everything delivered into your hand, Google is waiting to deliver you plenty of documentation, so you most probably don't need to waste your money on this one.

A pretty good overview of plugin development techniques. I would have liked to see more REST API material covered, but this is a good collection.
