If you like your books tucked and primped and put together like—well, a man or woman in uniform—Uniform Behaviour edited by Lucy Felthouse (of Erotica For All fame) is a book you should add to your TBR pile. Waiters in crisp uniform turn you on? Military men and women? Security guards, cops and priests (oh my!) Uniform Behaviour is a buffet of uniformly hot erotic fiction.
I did enjoy taking breaks during my writing day to sneak a story at a time—like eating a truffle between lunch and dinner—and savoring the collection. I found some real treats:
Lexie Bay is a new voice to me and her stories, yes two, stood out to me for various reasons but In Love and War had such an authentic voice for the young narrator, I actually teared up at one point (oh shut up, you!) and Taken With Consent was just a fun, sexy romp. It’s no surprise to me that Justine Elyot’s Guard Mounting was one of my favorites. I love Ms. Elyot’s voice and find her writing engaging and flawless and yummy—she so does not disappoint in this anthology. Elizabeth Coldwell was my hero with a fast-paced, hotter than hell spanking story—Strictly No Parking— that left me breathless and satisfied. But hands down, the stand-out star of this collection in my humble opinion was Craig Sorensen’s Lingua Acutus. The tone, the characters, the premise—that story stayed with me way beyond finishing the book.
So, my recommendation is grab yourself a copy and get comfy. At ease, soldier (priest, waiter, security guard, um…you get the picture). Go AWOL and read a good book.

Uniform Behaviour is an erotica anthology comprising 16 short and very steamy stories, all featuring a hero or heroine in uniform!
I mostly expected to read about soldiers and firemen and was very pleasantly surprised at the variety of uniforms: there were sailors, a waiter, priest, cleaner, cook, security guard, a policeman and woman and even a Queen's guard!
Now let's see briefly what I thought of each story individually:
1. Fireman's Lift by Rebecca Bond
Great characterisation despite the shortness of the story. The chemistry is sizzling between the H/H, thanks to the great writing the scene is classy but hot! This short story gives a whole new meaning to "fireman lift", and I wouldn't mind being stuck in an elevator the same way ;-p

2. In Love and War by Lexie Bay
I found the framework story too rosy romantic, as if Anna was a young girl of 16-18, her notions about love and life were certainly naive and innocent. Their love scene was hot, but a pity it reverted back to the too-sweet-to-handle form of before.

3. Dirty Deeds by Victoria Blisse
It was interesting to see that this was the 2nd story where the heroine was around 40 and the hero was 10 or 20 years her junior, and I was more than surprised to realize that the big age gap didn't bother me, it did nothing to decrease the sexiness of the story. I didn't find the writing that stellar, but the sex scene was sure hot!

Wow! Even now, days later having read this story, I still have to fan myself, just thinking of that seduction scene! I never really saw waiters as sexy before, but this novella certainly changed that! Sam is the dream guy, yummy! ;-p

Somehow this story stood out for me, unfortunately in a negative way. It just didn't do it for me, while reading this short story I felt excluded, like a spectator looking in, detached from the events and characters. The sex scene felt scripted and too sudden for me, but it might be just a personal preference.

This was a playful, hot story with tons of verbal foreplay and nonstop innuendos. Loved how the confident female pilot teased and played the honourable captain! :-D The flirting was like a dance between the H/H with lots of slow caresses and quick jabs of shocking sexual innuendos. There is action, a plot and lots of verbal foreplay, great read.

A revelation again: I never considered these guards in their quite ridiculous huge bearskin hats sexy until now! This was a playful, sexy, funny story!

The beginning of this story was like a whirlwind, I couldn't get my footing but then the tub scene was full of heat and the heartfelt talk of the H/H at the end elevated this story. It really felt as if it were written by a man, the writer really channeled the male narrator's voice!

12. Venus by Hawthorn
This story also sticks out a bit as it had more of an emotional, tender feel to it than plain sensuality. I found it particularly sweet how the efficient sailor got shy and stammered when he couldn't resist the heroine. It was a nice change to the other take charge men. This story was written so delicately that here it truly was a lovemaking scene. Still hot, but also sweet with gentleness.

This novella also had an interesting set-up: having a young male soldier and a female drill sergeant. The young man's smartass comments made me chuckle out loud more than once with the humour of the innuendos. This story had more of an emotional side telling more than a simple sex scene. The setting and framestory were enjoyable, the sex scene warm.

Verdict: Uniform Behaviour is a wonderful, steamy short story collection. I loved the wide variety of characters in uniform and the settings couldn't have been more different. The writing style and quality of the novellas were usually outstanding and everyone who picks up Uniform Behaviour is in for a treat! Be it a steamy sensual story you are looking for or a scorching, explosive one, you most certainly will find one to keep you warm at night! ;-)

Uniform Behavior is a book of short stories filled with men and women in uniform. I loved that there was variety in the stories, everything from police officers to wait staff. The stories may have been short but they were definitely sexy and fun. Many were secret encounters or had the possibility of being caught by others.
Fireman’s Lift by Rebecca Bond
When Brian & Susie get stuck in the elevator, Brian comes up with an unconventional but very sexy way to calm her down.
In Love and War by Lexie Bay
Love knows no boundaries, including War. Anna cares for Dimitri when she finds him hiding in their barn after his plane crashes; he is a Russian soldier on German soil. After getting caught in a compromising situation, Dimitri leaves Germany with more than his life.
Dirty Deeds by Victoria Blisse

Overall I enjoyed this collection of stories and give Uniform Behavior 4 Flaming Hearts.

Men and women in uniform -- you know you think they're sexy! Not only has a collection of authors come together to produce one massive conglomeration of hotness, but they've also contributed to an anthology that is giving back to those who serve!! The anthology consists of sixteen short stories that vary in 1st and 3rd person point-of-view, author writing styles, and while most stories are set in a contemporary setting, there are a few mixed in that are historical and futuristic, which makes this anthology uniquely diverse!
The smutness factor ranges from 'light' and not as graphic, to heavy use of graphic language, which again mixes things up a bit. But, regardless of the heat intensity, you will be left nice and warm after each and every story!
I appreciated the fact that the anthology consisted of a very diverse collection of uniform stories. Many of us automatically think of the military when we think of uniforms, and while there are plenty of those type of uniforms gracing the pages in the book, Lucy Felthouse -- and the authors -- did a fantastic job at recognizing that military are not the only uniforms that people put on for their occupation every day. What about the catering guy? The fireman? The futuristic fighter pilot? The bartender? Or even the Priest?! Yes, a priest even graces (no pun intended) the pages of this anthology!
In addition to the varied uniforms and settings, what also mixes things up and breaks any continuity from one story to the next is the varied authors and their writing styles. Each brings a little something different as they spin their tale of a man or woman in uniform. And, speaking of the different sexes, it's nice to see that a couple of men authors made it into the anthology, both giving the female lead a position of authority over the men leads.
Overall, I'm really glad that I had the opportunity to read this great anthology that didn't keep me feeling like I was reading the same story over and over! It was fun and sexy and I really enjoyed it!

First off, I like the fact Uniform Behaviour is about men in uniform for men in uniform—some proceeds go to the charity Help the Heroes. A good reason to buy the book, in my opinion.
The authors did a stand-up job. As is usual with anthologies, there are a variety of tales and writing styles to suit all tastes—and also different heat levels! What I enjoyed was being able to read them out of order if I chose, depending on my mood, if you dig what I’m saying. When I wanted a hit of hotness, I found it, and when I wanted something tamer, I got that too.
There are all kinds of uniformed men inside these delicious pages, so if a fireman gets your flames roaring or a waiter hands you desire on a plate (Oh, come on! You love my play on words there, right?) then this is the book for you. The men are delicious, sexy hunks that any woman won’t mind envisioning as they read, and man, I envisioned. Pwoar and ROAR! These guys are hot to trot and I wanted them all—ALL I tell you!
Aside from the hunks, there are women who, unlike me, aren’t afraid of going out there to get what they want. Confident. I want to be like them! Why can’t I be like them, huh? Maybe now I’ve read how to do it, their confidence will rub off on me. Maybe, if I see firemen leaving the station on a job, I can lift up my top and flash at them.

Doing things in places they perhaps shouldn’t. They’re so naughty. I just haven’t got the guts. Sigh.
The differing heat levels and sexual positions. Yeah, I like to learn all about this sex business—new ways, new everything. Bring it on!
Nice surprises in each story. They don’t just run with a format where you can predict the outcome. Mind you, I was kinda caught up in the rudeness, know what I mean, and imagining myself as those women, but yeah, they’re all unique in some way.
Uniform Behaviour is the kind of book you want to keep handy. Once you’ve read it and noticed which tales appeal to you the most, you can go back to them to get a large dose of…yeah, you can go back to them. Now, I need to find a top I can lift easily. A visit to the bushes outside our local fire station is in order.

This book is HOT! Have you ever imagined what it would be like stuck in an elevator with a hot hunky delicious looking fireman? Or maybe had some wild fantasy about a police officer? Uniform Behaviour takes your erotic imagination to those places and SO many more!
When I first dove into this book I loved the fact that it was a bunch of short stories, they were able to keep my attention and keep me on my toes. Not only was each story completely different, but no two stories had the same erotic situation. There were foreign countries, urban cities, even distant planets. Each tale as well written as the next, which made me notice that these authors have some amazing imaginations.
Picking up this book would be something I would recommend to anyone who wants to ignite that spark back into their relationship, try roll playing or maybe just need some alone time. All of these stories will have you wondering who turned the temperature and didn't open the window!

This gorgeously wrapped anthology has 16 delicious short stories to tease and tantalise you until you are begging for more. Each story features a man or woman in uniform with a erotic twist. This book is perfect if you just want some quickies to get you through the day. This book brings to print many many many fantasies we have all had at some point *wink wink*

Is it fair to rate this book 5 out of 5 when I contributed? I don't care! All the stories were brilliantly absorbing and wonderfully written; I feel lucky to have been given the opportunity to be a part of writing this anthology, particularly as 'On Manoeuvres' is the first story I've written. I hope you all enjoy the stories as much as I have.

Elizabeth Coldwell's 'Strictly No Parking' relates a sizzling 'no names' encounter. I'll be going back for a second read.

If you love your men in uniform, you will love this sexy anthology of men in all sorts of uniforms, getting very naughty with the women in the lives. There's all sorts of sexy fun, in and out of uniform in this great anthology. I love that they are short stories and that they are fun read when time is limited. Very entertaining.
