Follow You Down (Farfalla) (Volume 1) by Ted Persinger

“Rachel Walker, I’d like you to meet David Wright.” I still tremble when I remember those words. That day changed me forever. Rachel is a biracial woman from Queens in the late 1970s. She aspires to write poetry, and is drawn to Manhattan for the art she finds there. She meets a man who changes her life forever. David has a dark secret. His desires draw Rachel into a world of easy indulgence, a world of lust and sex, a world where anything goes. From a simple school teacher, Rachel is transformed into someone she would never have recognized…would never have approved of. As her career grows, so do her challenges. Is she flying or falling? Sometimes it’s difficult to understand the difference. To this very day, I remember the first time I saw him. It sounds corny, of course, to say “my heart skipped a beat.” But it did. Several. I do believe in love at first sight…it has happened to me a few times in my life. But this was the first, and the first is always special. He set my soul on fire instantly. I would’ve done anything he wanted…and I guess I did. Follow You Down is an erotic romance, which explores a woman’s personal, spiritual, and sexual evolution. Rachel faces a changing world, a changing culture, and a changing sense of self. Where will she find herself? Who will she be on the other side?

I can't believe I've not heard of this author before. This book was a really great surprise to me. A really hot erotic romance that I really enjoyed.
I thought the author did a great job of portraying the characters in this story. We read of how Rachel deals with her guilt. The passion and chemistry between Rachel and David is so hot. Ted certainly knows how to write hot sexy scenes.
Great story. I'm so looking forward to reading more by this author.

Ted Persinger has written a great story. Rachel Walker is a woman who grows up in a society that frowns upon a girl of mixed race. As she grows up and gets a full scholarship the Columbia, she embarks in a journey to be the best that she can be. After graduation she meets a guy named David Wright who changes her life forever as she embarks on a journey that will take her down paths she never thought possible. David helps her uncover and explore erotica bliss. As the story unfolds the skies the limit. Follow You Down will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions that will capture your imagination and your heart.

I give this 5 stars. This story had everything you could want. The sex scenes were freaking hot, taboo and steamy. What I loved most about this story, was Rachelle's turmoil over everything. Her guilt regarding her Dad, that was a real emotion that any child can relate too. The guilt she felt over her feelings, liking the taboo life style, when her upbringing was so sheltered in a way. She was raised by loving parents that would never have been able to understand how she could put herself into this type of relationship. She had to learn how to establish herself into this taboo lifestyle and understand her feelings of doubt, guilt, humiliation, jealousy, love and also being a mixed race. This was a liberating story of one woman's life and how she grew from the experiences she encountered.

Ted is a new author to me and this is the first novel I have read by him. I couldn’t put it down. I was turning the pages so fast that I was gobsmacked when I finished it. The characters were alive and deeply passionate about each other. The way he described Rachel is probably one of the most beautiful things I have read. You could feel the underlying passion between Rachel and David with each word. I loved this book and I find it hard to believe that I haven’t heard about this author before. I can’t wait to see more of Ted’s work, I only hope I don’t have to wait too long for it! 5 stars.

“Rachel Walker, I’d like you to meet David Wright.”

This was a really steamy read. There was lots of hot sex that will leave you breathless.
You meet Rachel who has lived a sheltered life. She meets David who has a particular taste
when it comes to his sex life. Rachel gets enveloped into his lifestyle and experiences many emotions during the relationship: Jealousy, Guilt, Frustration, Pain, and Heartbreak

This is the first book in the Farfalla series. It is a must read that definitely had me right from the beginning. You can’t help but think to yourself “ Could I be in a relationship like this?”
You will experience the emotions right along with Rachel.

Will Rachel be able to continue the lifestyle? If not, would David be willing to change for her?

I received an ARC for an honest review.

4 stars, interesting read from a male author. I rather liked this one. He did a great job of getting in touch with the main female's character and story. I look forward to reading more of his work.
