It will be ok Jossy Girl.

A pretty good romantic suspense read. It didn’t blow me away, but if you’re looking for an abduction/witness protection type romance, then this is a good one. The hero is super jealous and possessive. He’s also not supposed to want the heroine, so of course he does lol. This is all in all a good read.

I love K Webster's heroes. Slade was a total ass in the beginning but when he got his shit together he was amazing. Sexy, dirty talking and possessive. Just the way I like 'em. I really liked Joss/Jill too. I'm quickly making my way through this author's library. Definitely one of my top authors at this point. Even when she writes stuff I normally wouldn't like in a book, she always saves the book for me.

*4.25+* A very satisfying woman-on-the-run story (forced hiding). Great hero who is jealous and possessive. There is a bit of "fighting his feelings" scenarios which is perfectly okay when his actions speak otherwise ... he..hee. I wished the suspense part was more developed, but I was pleasantly surprised with how engaged I was in the story.

This is not a dark read as the author's other books. This is pretty straightforward romantic suspense, heavier on the romance and relationship development.

An amazing debut novel by author Elle Christensen! When I heard that K. Webster and Elle Christensen were teaming up to write a novel, I was super excited. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book, and I was not disappointed!!

Erased follows the story of Joss and Derek. Joss's life seems perfect, a dream come true. She has her dream job, boyfriend and protective father. Everything is perfect until one night. This one night, her entire life will change. She will find that people are not who they seem to be. Someone she's known and trusted her entire life wants access to a program and Joss is the key to getting that program. But, her father isn't willing to give up the information needed and at the last minute, Joss is saved by an unlikely person.....Joss finds herself in a small town with Derek Slade. Slade's job is give Joss a new life and keep her safe. Joss no longer exists. Joss has now become Jill.....As Joss starts her life over as Jill, she's suddenly taking charge of things. She's stronger, feistier, and doesn't put up with anything. She doesn't trust anyone and will protect her heart at all costs. The last thing Joss ever planned on, was falling for her protector, Slade. Their attraction is instant and intense. But, Slade has secrets and the lines of protector become blurred. Will they give into their attraction? What will happen when the past catches up with the both of them??

I was hooked on Erased from the very first page. The plot and writing kept me completely captivated. I got lost in the suspense and the mystery of the story. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. The characters were easy to connect with and had scorching chemistry. I couldn't get enough of Joss and Derek. I loved the push and pull of their relationship and watching them try to fight their attraction! Derek was the perfect dirty talking bad boy. Let's just say, the two of them together: SCORCHING!!

"I just want to stay here forever, block out the real world and fuse our bodies together, living as one, making up for those jagged pieces we are on our own"

Erased was a quick and easy read for me. It was impossible to put down. I devoured this book in about 4 hours!! It had it all for me: angst, action, romance, suspense, and lots of sexy times. This is one of those books that once I was finished, I immediately wanted to read it over again. That's how much I enjoyed it. Erased is the debut novel by Elle Christensen and adding K. Webster into the mix, makes for one exciting read! Elle Christensen is definitely an author to watch out for.

This is a first for me I've never read anything other than horror really, I certainly won't be going back in a hurry! This book gripped me from page 1 I couldn't put it down. I was totally blown away by the skill of the 2 writers working together, I think I expected a bit if cheesy porn-lit and I got the total opposite I felt like I was there in the story with Slade and joss up close and personal in those clinches but don't mistake this for just a sexy book oh no! The plot throuought had me hooked even if the erotic moments where not in this book I would still have been hooked. I will be reccomending this to all I can! Great book ladies, you've converted a horror girl, thank you :)

Despite the strange beginning and when J speaks about herself in third person ( I can’t stand this part ) despite the fact that Derek goes from “is better if she thinks that I don’t like her ,to No one can speak to you because you are mine and I have to take you now on this desk” ; I enjoy this book ...really hot and detailed the sexy scene yup

I enjoyed this book, I a big fan of the guy/girl can't stand each other because they like each other. Almost like a cat and mouse game..Where the sexual tension between the two characters is so hot, you are dying to have them through out their rules and just get together.

I really enjoyed Jill/Joss's character. I think she was lovely and talented and strong willed. I just wish I knew more about her. It felt like something was missing.

Slade, I am a huge sucker for hot alpha, I could beat you up and I have the power to kill your men. SWOON.. Lock me up and throw away the key... I really enjoyed watching this strong no feelings man crumble into a this head over heels in love with a girl guy...I do feel like this character was well developed.

I really enjoyed this book it was full of drama, sexual tension, and hot Alpha Male. But, I do feel like something was missing to make this book really great. But, even with that it was an enjoyable read.

2 stars for Erased by K Webster

I liked the concept of this but the overall affect was a bit boring and lackluster. I didn’t feel any true danger existed for Joss and I didn’t care for who the “villain” was either. There was also no real connection, for me, between Joss & Derek. This was just an ok read for me.

This is a very short read and I’m pretty sure it was free on Amazon. Since it’s such a short novel it kind of rushes the characters getting together, but it’s not that different from other romance novels. I like the plot premise and the characters. I’m glad the book has an epilogue so you know they live HEA. Would recommend to those who like romance novels.

4.5 stars!!

First, I didn't understand the cover but as the more I've read from the book, the more I understood. Though it's a bit futuristic (just like some elements in the book), it reflects the main character really well.

Erased is a collaboration between K Webster and debut author Elle Christensen and follow a young girl who is ripped from her old life and thrown into a new one, where she doesn't know anything or anyone, yet has to adapt to it.

Joss Parker is a simple girl, living in New York with her perfect but boring boyfriend, Kent. Joss' passion is playing the piano and that is her job too. A pianist. She inherited her talent from her mother, who died during childbirth. She grew up with her overbearing father and his best friend, who she looked at as an uncle, Bruce. Until she got kidnapped, then saved and her life turned upside down. Joss wasn't anymore. She was erased, with getting a whole new name - Jill Anderson - and identity, and threw in a small town in the middle nowhere with bar owner/mercenary, Derek Slade.

I didn't know what to expect of this book. I rarely read summaries before starting a new book and I didn't do it with this one. I like to go into my reads knowing nothing about them. That way I have to figure out what will happen.
Reading the prologue, I expected a bit of a mystery but going into it more, it was surprisingly romantic with a lot of sexy times.

Joss was a really good character. I think everyone in their life wants to experience, if only just once, that what would it be to be someone else. Joss had her chance, even though she didn't want. She became Jill, and she changed her personality, along with her name and look. Jill was fierce and passionate, a big flirt and an overall outgoing girl, a complete opposite of Joss. The only things she couldn't part with are her long hair and her passion for piano. I think I loved Jill more, because she seemed closer to me and my personality. Of course, just as almost all the characters, she had her flaws too, like judging too soon and jumping to conclusions without thinking.

I loved Derek Slade. I seriously loved him. He was intense, funny, strong, smart and ready to protect Joss with her life. He also had a secret persona, a name everyone feared, one, he hid before Joss. He didn't have any easy life growing up but somehow, he could turn out to be a great person, in spite of the "family" he was a part of.

The romance, oh my god, SCORCHING. Literally. I loved every moment of it. They were passionate and sexy and hot as hell separately, but when together... they could've burned off Derek's bar. Their push and pull was really intense and you just wanted them to be together already.

I didn't really like the secondary characters. Joss' dad was really a dick through the book, along with Bruce, the godfather/uncle. They both seemed hellbent on protecting their beliefs, no matter if it cost the life of the girl, they love unconditionally. Though in the end, they cleared their names, I was still wary of them.

The writing style in Erased was really good and easy flowing. Kristi and Elle's writing seams together beautifully. I never felt the book was written by two people. It was very easy to read and I got into it pretty quickly. This was my - and everyone's - first book by Elle but look out for her, she'll be big. And I'm not saying this because she is a friend of mine. She is literally SO GOOD.

Some of the things I didn't like, just to mention but not spoil. These little problems are the reason my rating is only 4.5 stars. First off, I'm NOT good with suspense/angst and I find it hard to read, so that was one of the problem. Or if it must have some kind of suspense, I love it when it just practically attacks me from out of nowhere, but sadly here, I could easily figure out when it will happen. Also, I don't like the kind of happy endings like this, but hell, it was okay here.

So people, I encourage you to read Erased if you are looking for a sexy, easy, fun book with suspense and a lot of hotness. Kristi and Elle won't disappoint you with their book and I hope they'll have more where this one came from. Also, look out for Elle, her next book is coming out soon, but I'll keep you all posted, as I'm in her street team.

I was gifted a copy of Erased in exchange for an honest review.

K. Webster and Elle Christensen packed a mound of sexy, fun, and thrill in to Erased.

"Life isn't all roses and glitter."

At the beginning of the story, we are introduced to Joss Parker, a young lady who has grown up privileged and always been the "good girl". She is a concert pianist, and seems to have her perfect life planned out for herself. However, she wakes up to discover that life will never be the same. We come to learn that she will never know this Joss Parker again. She will never feel the same when she plays the piano, and will never be the future bride to Kent.

"And I'll throw you out with the rest of the garbage."

To say that Derek Slade has had any easy life would be an understatement. We are given insight into his childhood, being raised by his Uncle Mick who does not tolerate any type of mannerisms that would not resemble manliness; he is cruel, rude, and violent. But, he gave Slade food and shelter that he needed. Because of his Uncle Mick's influence Slade has learned to be a ruthless mercenary machine.

"What if...what if I want to be your breakfast?"

It doesn't take long for things to heat up between Jill and Derek. Jill wants to be the "bad girl" who does things because it feels good, and doesn't have to worry about the consequences. Derek is trying his hardest to protect Jill without becoming involved with her. However, we learn that there is a thin line for Derek between protection and love, and Jill knows just where the crossing point of that line is.

"I've got you, Joss."

These words haunt Joss/Jill throughout the story. Every man she has trusted has betrayed her, or so it would seem. And these words will come back in an attempt to destroy any bit of trust that she feels she has left. In the end, we know what true meaning these words hold.

There were three things that I absolutely loved about Erased...
First, I was drawn to Joss/Jill because of her love for music. In each scene that involved her and the piano, I was mesmerized by the author's description of what she would play, how she looked as she played, and the emotions that she felt when playing. It was almost as if you could hear the song in your mind, and feel the crescendo and decrescendo of the music as Joss's emotions reacted in kind.
The second aspect that made me read like a mad woman, but want to slow down and absorb every word, were the sexy love scenes between Joss and Derek. Wow! Their chemistry was amazing! The way that Joss reacted to Derek's touch, feel, and voice was tantalizing. And knowing that Derek felt the same, but with such an intensity that burned...it was exactly what was needed to meld Joss and Jill, Derek, Slade, and Gideon.
The last part of my loves, squeezes, and hugs for this book goes to.....the little boy in the church. Oh my gosh!! There is nothing like a child's innocence as they speak. If an author can adequately incorporate children into a book, I think kids can make a scene. In the case of Erased, I was rolling in the floor laughing. Of course my favorite quote from the young boy was, "Let me see your claws, Wolverine."

Erased was a hit out of the ballpark for K. Webster and Elle Christensen. I look forward to their next collaboration.

An Erased quote that would sum up all the feels I had when reading this book...
"I feel a pang in my heart. One I've never felt before."

So K. Webster is one of my FAVORITE authors - and I feel very fortunate that I was given a copy of Erased for my honest review.

What would you do if you were taken by someone you trusted in the middle of the night and had your life threatened by them? How would you respond if later you woke up an a plain room under the care of someone "your father trusts"? Would you change your entire life to save your own life?

Joss is an accomplished concert pianist living with her "Ken" doll. Her entire world comes crashing down when her own godfather sets in motion a chain of events that will change her life forever. Joss is forced into hiding - She becomes Jill. She is living and working with a complete stranger that wants to protect her with every fiber of his being. But there is so much more to both sides Joss/Jill.

Derek Slade is living two lives. In one life, he is a successful bar owner in a podunk town. He has a faithful staff, goes to church and is content with what he has earned for himself. In his other life, he does things most people would never consider. He considers himself a bad man but knows deep down that he would give his life to protect Joss - something that he would have previously seen as a weakness is now his

This story is full of characters that have two sides to them. Joss, Derek, Bruce, and William all have two sides - and it gives this story a little more substance. It left me like Jill and wanting more! I did openly giggle reading the "grunts and growls" out of Derek - because my husband is known to make the same noises as well.

I ABSOLUTELY loved this story and how the two authors were able to write in such a manner that it flowed. I mean, I knew who wrote what sections but it flowed together so nicely that you could not tell a difference in their styles. I would recommend it to everyone!!!!

I was generously given a copy of this book from the authors in exchange for an honest review.

As a result of a threat to her safety, Joss' life as a successful concert pianist has been erased and she has been given a new identity as Jill, a waitress in a bar. Bar owner, Derek Slade, has been tasked to keep her hidden and guard her life. There is animosity between the two as Jill feels imprisoned and is still in shock over loosing everything. Against her will and better judgment there is something that draws her to this man who now holds her well-being in his hands.

Slade is a street-tough career criminal who is looking to retire and lead a life of normlcy. He fights his attraction to Jill and instinctive need to protect her but fails to keep his distance. Jill and Slade finally act on their mutual need for each other and start a fiery affair. Can he continue to keep her safe or will she become a distraction from his job?

This is a great "snuggle-up-on-the-couch-on-a-cold-weekend" kind of book. It's a quick and easy read with triple POV, a touch of angst, suspense, and great chemistry between the main characters. This book was written by two authors and their writing styles blend well giving the story an easy flow and good pace. Erased is the first book that I've read by either K Webster or Elle Christensen and as much as I liked it I would definitely read more from them.

I want a Derek Slade in my life ☺

I absolutely loved this book! You can’t help but feel bad for poor Joss/Jill when she is ripped away from life as she knows it. You also can’t help but fall in love with damaged, sexy, dirty talking Derek Slade.

These two come from such completely different lifestyles and upbringings that I didn’t think their pairing could be pulled off, I am so happy to say I was very wrong! As Joss struggles to accept her new identity as Jill so does Slade trying to transform from what he has always been taught to be to what he wants to be for Joss. When these two finally come together, you might very well cry, I know I did. This is such a sweet, steamy and suspenseful read. I enjoyed every minute of it!

These two authors together make for a fabulous read!!! I for one hope it won’t be their last book together....

I'm a sucker for a dark romance and I loved the concept of Erased.

Straight away your pulled into this world and you have no idea how or why Joss has been brought into the crossfire - she has no idea why she's been pulled into this either but she has one thing on her side and that's the fact that Slades taken a liking to her. Good thing really because he saves her a fair few times.

I good have rated this so much higher because the steam was there and there were so many on edge moments that really took some dark turns but I needed more depth. I needed more detail and I really think bulking the story out would have done this. I wanted so much more of everything that was happening. Its a great, quick read but once I fell in love with the story and the characters I didn't want it to be brief anymore, I wanted to know their birthday, star sign and postcode.

Is not what you’ll expect!

I enjoyed every moment of this book! It was super intriguing! The characters were amazing and the story line will keep you on the edge!

Joss was Erased, she needed to learn to start living as someone else. And he’s a men you hire to do the dirty work. But soon he finds himself feeling he need to protect her, at all cost. only in the end to find out she was the one who can fully Erase him!

These two together work so good! I love when authors get together to put their own uniqueness. I recommend this book to anyone wanting a good enjoyable book!

So lame and cliche.
A lot of editing issues too...
I couldn’t get the language, I couldn’t even get attached to the couple, individually or together. The sex scenes were the best part but way too many, very little of the book was left to anything else, and everything else wasn’t even mildly interesting, as the background story of the characters, and the dialogues seemed rushed and forced, just so there was something anything to “justify” the characters personality and relationship, but it didn’t seem realistic at all. The writing was meh...
This really wasn’t for me. I’m glad it was a short book.

I tried really hard to like this, but when I found myself skimming I knew it was a lost cause.

I continued on. because I was still curious how things were going to end for Joss/Jill, Gideon/Slade, and Bruce.

Where do I even begin to describe how well written Erased is??? You could never tell that this book is two authors writing together!! Elle Christensen and K Webster have totally raised the bar with this book. I would even say that they have mastered being able to write together and have created their own little masterpiece with Erased!!! I could not stop reading once I started.

Joss is a young lady that has things going for her when all the sudden her world is turned upside down. She has been told that everything she once knew as her own life is no more. Slade provides a Joss with a place for her to stay and a job for her to work at when she has to suddenly disappear. Joss does not understand how all this can happen. She makes do with what she is handed and even begins to make another life for herself. Joss never had any idea that Slade had feelings for her or felt so strongly about her.

Once Joss has set into somewhat of a routine with her new life, she soon discovers that there is still one part of her past that she can still connect with. Joss's love and talent of playing the piano is the only thing that she can still do that is related to her past life. Slade recognizes the connection with Joss and the piano.

Slade soon shows Joss his feelings for her and Joss never knew someone could make her feel like Slade does. Slade cares for Joss like she is his own and soon declares his ownership of her in ways no one imagined. This story just makes you want to melt at how Slade is such an Alpha male and so protective of Joss!! I have to say that I now have a new favorite BBF and it is Slade!!!

Thanks Elle Christensen and K Webster for such a great read!! I sincerely hope that there are other books in the making for another heart melting masterpiece from you two!!!

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. When I first got this book I was unsure how I would feel about the story. However upon reading this story it went beyond my expectations.

When we start out this book Slade is being recruited for a job. He tells the person on the other end that this is his last job and he will do this but never to call him again. Little did he know how much this last job would affect him.

The next chapter brings us to Joss and how she is waking up after remembering what has happened earlier in the evening. You see she was kidnapped from her own bed and knocked unconscious and who would do something so horrible to her. Well that would be her godfather Bruce. Bruce needs a password from her father but he refuses to give it him. The problem with this is not only does he kidnap his goddaughter but he threatens her with what she treasures most her hands. Joss is a concert pianist and when her godfather threatens to break her fingers she is more scared than she has ever been in her life. Just in the nick of time though one of her captors saves her but this just opens her up to many more problems.

This book has so many twists and turns that I want to tell you all about but as a reader I feel like you should find them out for yourself not me just telling you about the. I will tell you from the first page to the very end of this book this story will grab you and not let go. This book is amazing on so many levels it needs to be on everyone's must read list.

I'm trying to put into words exactly how much I adored this book. Here's the thing, I'm a ridiculously picky reader. Especially when it comes to suspense and romance. I like there to be suspense but not too much where it makes me stressed out, and not too little to where it falls flat on the climax. And it has to have enough romance to entice me but not so much that I'm rolling my eyes at the cheesy. Well Erased fell perfect in each category for me. Everything about it was just perfect. From page one I was sucked in. I mean it. I didn't want to do anything but sit on my couch and read this book. I didn't want, I needed, to find out what was going on. I needed to know why Joss had to become erased, and what was going on with her new life as Jill. Not to mention the chemistry between Jill and Slade had me drooling, and flipping the pages faster just to engulf myself inter relationship. But the suspense, man the suspense, it was just amazing. I was sitting at the edge of my seat the entire time. I knew something was going to happen, but I had no idea what, and I freaking loved it. I think sometimes when people cowrite it doesn't always read well, but this book turned out amazing between the skills of K Webster and Elle Christensen. All i'm saying, is if you're looking for a 5 star book that will give you a book hangover go one click erased. Seriously.

Joss is a woman who thinks she knows herself pretty well, I mean... who knows her better than herself, right? Wrong, it took her world turning upside down, being kidnapped and ultimately erased to find herself. I think her new identity gave her the freedom to do just that. It also helped that all shes known all her life has turned out to be a lie. Then men she loves beetrayed her giving her the wake up call that she can only ever trust herself. While she still held on to a little of her old self, for example her love of the piano. All her ignorance and innocence have been stripped and thrown into the flames of destruction that is now her life. For now anyway. Her life wont stop there of course because the man protecting her has her at war with herself. She hates him but at the same time cant help but like him, you can't hate someone who looks like Slade too much. But his looks will only get him so far, especially when she finds out his secrets. Everything shes known has once again been a lie. Will the lies catch up with them until all their is left is truth? I really enjoyed this book and the tug of war of emotions Joss had to continue to face through the story and who it helped her become.

The synopsis of the book covers what the book is about in great detail and also gives you a good look into the storyline which had it all--twists, suspense, love, angst (betrayal) and a good plot.

The characters were very well developed.
Derek Slade is tall, muscular, hot and just the right amount of alpha in him. Is willing to do anything he needs to do to protect what he believes is his or what he want to be his.

Joss is very reserved and does as she is told. However, when she takes on the persona of Jill Anderson (J) it allows her to break free. She becomes strong willed with a sassy nature that was buried deep within her.

Together Derek and J are very sexually charged. They also but heads on just about anything that has to do with J staying safe. However, will information that has been kept a secret ruin everything or can they overcome the betrayal?

While reading I couldn't tell that this book was written by two different authors it flowed amazingly. K. Webster and Elle Christensen did an amazing job!!!

I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great book about betrayal (family and non-family) and love.

****I was given a copy for an honest review.****
