Since I’ve been gone, I’ve realized the only thing that matters is the one thing I can’t Olivia Monroe. Not only is she my best friend’s little sister, I ruined any chance I had with her the day I broke her heart. When I see her on the stage at Club Curve, something in me snaps. She’s meant to be mine, and I won’t stop until I’ve claimed her… body, mind, and soul… no matter the consequences. Your favorite Contemporary Romance authors have come together to give you 30 nights you'll never forget. Every day in June, you'll get to read sassy, sexy, curvy, confident women in locations all around the globe take part in the night of their lives, at Club Curve.
When Eve London was a girl she wanted to be a trapeze artist. Instead, she grew up to be like most women–a juggler–trying to keep bunches of balls in the air. Now she spends her days writing about the kind of men she likes – sexy, shameless, and just a little bit sarcastic.
One Night with the Player by Eve London is part of the multi-author Club Curve series but it also ties into the Mama Mae series/books by the author. The story is about Olivia Monroe and Leo Steele. Leo grew up as one of Mama Mae's boys who left town after graduating and went on to develop and own a wildly successful dating app. He has never returned to Broken Bend, TX since then but that changes for this weekend when he flies in on his private jet. At the airport he is met not with the town car he expected but instead by an outlandish hummer limo with his best friend Ethan and a group of high school friends. They take him to a new place to party for the night, Club Curve. Olivia grew up in Broken Bend and has never left. He manages a store on the main street and lives a quiet life. But the one thing she does do is take pole dancing classes once a week, after being talked into it by her bestie, Shiva. When the instructor suggests that Olivia perform at the amateur night at Club Curve she is not sure but Shiva once again talks her into it, along with a disguise and a stage name, Luscious Legend. Club Curve is about to sprinkle some magic for these two only they are already bound in a way that neither can ever forget, or move on from. I enjoyed this charming and delightful story. I will say that I wanted to knock some sense into Leo a few times but once these two finally got over their past hurts and issues they were shimming all the way to their HEA.
People look at Leo and assume he is a player, but really he has been running, trying desperately to outrun his feelings for Olivia, hoping to find someone else who creates that same spark and need...but no-one has come close. It only takes one look, one touch and he is lost, cannot deny his feelings or his love any longer. He did the right thing before, she was too young, he needed to prove to himself he could make it. Now is their time and I love that Leo doesn't hesitate to claim Olivia, to sell up and relocate, to give her all of him...heart and soul. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
Talk about a tropefest!! Second chances, brothers best friend, instalove...all my favourites! Leo knows he screwed up and, after seeing Olivia again, just wants to make it right. Quick but good read.

Olivia tells him to tell her the truth. Leo doesn't know what to say, Olivia tells him she gives up. Leo's fifteen minutes are up and Olivia tells him they didn't make much progress. Leo asks her if they can start over, Olivia tells him it's to late to start over, that ran out at least ten years ago. Leo tells her to kiss him, if they can kiss and it not mean anything he'll let her go. Olivia tells him that's a horrible idea, when her lips hover over his he leans in and kisses her. Every nerve in their body sparks to life. Their tongues tangled together, and my body moved together. Leo's lips trailed down her neck and across her collarbone. Leo suggest why keep this a secret but Olivia know that won't happen. When Leo tells Olivia he's going to take care of her, she tells him she wants him to be her first. Leo tells her he's going to take her out on a date. Olivia reminds him he's in town for a class reunion and going to see her brother, his best friend. Leo tells her he'll deal with Ethan, he's serious about her and won't let her go again. When Leo tells her he'll pick her up tomorrow she asks him if he's going to ask her instead of telling her. So then Leo asks her if she'll be his date for the reunion tomorrow night. When Olivia starts to think of all the woman he's been with and he's a player back in Chicago she has doubts, so she tells him she can't. Olivia turns and leaves running out the door. When Leo tries to go after her Olivia's friend Shiva stops him and tells him to let her go. Leo asks her who she is, Shiva tells him that she know how hard it was the last time he left Olivia. Leo tells Shiva he's trying to make up for that, and she asks him how. Leo tells him her he wants to do things right this time, he tries to get Shiva on his side. Shiva tells him not to get any ideas she's all team Olivia, if he wants to win her back he's has some wooing to do. Shiva reminds him about the ten grand he promised them for fifteen minutes of Olivia's time. Leo tells Shiva he'll make her a deal, if she can get Olivia ready by seven tomorrow night he'll have the money wired to any account. Shiva tells him that wasn't their deal. They deal back and forth then Leo tells Shiva he'll double his offer. Leo tells Shiva that now that he's back in Broken Bend he knows his feelings for Olivia won't go away. Shiva tells him if he hurts Olivia she'll come after him. Leo tells her he has no intentions of doing that. Leo returns out in front and finds his friends wasted. Leo tells his friends he's ready to leave but when they want to stay he tells them he'll get a ride. The next day Olivia's door bell rings before she's out of bed, when she look through her peephole she sees a man with flowers. When she opens the door he hands her a bouquet of flowers and asks her to sign, he has more in his van. When five o'clock comes around Olivia starts to freak out, so she heads to the Club Curve to burn off some energy. The manager is more than happy to let her pole dance, but she needs to change into another outfit. Dancing was what Olivia needed, when she's done and notices a few of the men lining the stage to give her a tip. Olivia doesn't do it for the money but it'll help out. Another man comes up and pushes the others out of the way he tells them she's not accepting any more tips. When Olivia look she sees it's Leo, when she looks past him she notices the waitstaff leading customers out of the club. She asks him what he's doing, he tells her he heard she was dancing. Olivia tells him she just came to burn off some energy, he tells her if she wants to dance she can dance for him. Leo tells her to take her time the club is closed. Olivia hates that he can come back after staying away for fifteen years, expected her to fall into line feeling the same way about him she had back then. Mostly she hates that she loves him. After a half an hour of dancing Olivia turns off the music and Leo asks her if she had enough. Olivia tells him she'll need some time to get ready for the reunion if he still wants her to go with him. Leo tells her to take her time. Olivia tells him she has a question for him, she asks him what his end game is. Olivia tells him she has no plans to leave Broken Bend, he lives in Chicago, is this a weekend thing. Leo gets down on one knee, he tells her he loves her it's always been her, if this is where she wants to live he'll move. Olivia asks him why now. Leo tells her he tried to stay away at first he knew he wasn't good enough for her. He also needed her brother, if he wanted success and he didn't want to risk their friendship so he shut down his heart. Olivia tells him she seen pictures of him, heard stories, he's the most eligible bachelor. She asks him if he knows how much that hurt to see him with a different woman. Leo tells her he's sorry he hurt her he was trying to outrun his heart, but it didn't work, it's only been her. Olivia tells him it's only been him for her. Leo tells her about the cruise he tried to make sure she wasn't here. Now he wants to walk into the reunion with her on his arm. Leo tells her he loves her, for better or worse, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, then asks her if she'll marry him. Olivia tells him she'll marry him. Olivia stops him telling him not so fast, he needs to make her his, making love to her. Leo tells her her wish is his command, stand and kisses her. Leo takes Olivia to a swanky downtown Austin hotel with the entire top floor for them. Leo lifts her up and he carries her to the bed, his hands roam her body. He asks her if she's sure about this, she tells him she's never been more surer, he needs to make her his. Leo strips her of her clothes. Olivia tells him to take off his clothes. Leo pleasures her, then they make love. Then they take a shower together before making love once again. Leo calls in a team and has Olivia's hair and makeup done. Then a stylist brings in a rack of clothes. Within an hour they are headed to the reunion. They spot Olivia's brother Ethan as he walks towards them. Ethan tells them he wants to know what's going on, he heard Leo closed down the club and now he shows up with his sister. They all head outside to talk, both Leo and Olivia explain to Ethan what happened. Leo tells Ethan he loves Olivia he always has and always will, she's the best thing that's ever happened to him. Leo tells Ethan he made the mistake of leaving her and will never do it again. Olivia tells Ethan she's in love with Leo, but her brother tells them he can't accept this. Ethan throw a punch at Leo, and tells him he can't let him do this, he thought he was his best friend. Leo tells him he is and will always be, but right now he's Olivia's fiancee. Leo tells Ethan if he can't accept it he's sorry, he needs time to think about this. Leo tells him to take all the time he needs. Leo hopes Ethan comes around, for Olivia's sake. Leo needed her like his body required air to breathe. Now that they’d found their way back to each other, his player days were long over. He’ll never be foolish enough to let her go again. Two years later, they were married one year ago. Olivia and Shira launched their line of pole fitness apparel six months ago. Leo sold his dating app and moved back to Broken Bend. Leo had a pole installed in their bedroom, as a surprise for their one year anniversary. Leo tells Olivia to dance for him, and the music starts to play. Sometimes it was hard for Olivia to believe what they have, but she can't deny that it's real, that it's the love of a lifetime. It's the type of love she had always wanted, and she would never take it for granted.

Holy cow, the chemistry between Olivia and Leo was 🥵🔥❤️! I’ve always been a fan of the star-crossed lovers separated by an OTT big brother. It’s nice to see they got their HEA after all those years. Definitely can’t wait to read the rest of this series.

Leo, the male lead, refused Olivia, the female lead, when she approached him before he left town fifteen years ago for a variety of reasons but he’s always missed her. Olivia has, similarly, missed him. Now, his foster mother has guilted him into returning for a high school reunion and he’s shocked and attracted to Olivia pole dancing at a club in costume. Olivia downs trust him when approaches her this time, however. Now he needs to convince her he really wants her in spite of his hook up king reputation.
This short story is dual POV, well written, and an addition to the Mamma Mae’s foster boys series. I enjoyed Olivia’s perspectives and the choices she’d made for herself. I did not appreciate Leo’s theoretical longterm regard for her, given his admitted reputation as hook up king and owner of a hook up app. If he really cared for her, surely there should have been some faithfulness. I, therefore, didn’t like this story, though it is written with the author’s style and care. It’s just not my cup of tea - it feels like cheating.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.

Fifteen years ago Leo Steele left Broken Bend, Texas, after breaking the heart of his best friend's sister. Olivia Monroe has been in love with Leo for years. But as far as Ethan was concerned, Olivia was off limits to any and all of his friends.

Too bad for him, Olivia stayed in town. When Ethan and classmates pick Leo up at the airport, they stop at a gentleman's club on the way out of town. Leo Steele grew up in Broken Bend, Texas. He is now one of the richest men in Chicago, due to a dating app. He was one of Mama Mae’s kids. I get so happy whenever I see a new Broken Bend story or one having to do with one of Mama Mae’s kids. They are just so much fun to read. Mama Mae was one of the only people who ever believed in Leo. His best friend, Ethan is Leo’s bestie growing up and his little sister, Olivia was the reason he left. He had feelings for her and he had no way of giving her a good life, so he left. He is returning for his high school reunion. Mama Mae threatened to come get him… lol
Ethan takes Leo to Club Curve for amateur night. Olivia is there with her friend Shiva. She is doing this to feel good about herself and gain some confidence and using the pole is great exercise for the core. Leo is entranced by the performer and tries to get backstage to talk to her. No go. This part is so funny. I really love Shiva and how she is with him. Of course, he finally figures stuff out and that is even funnier. Lots of reveals. A couple of misunderstandings. It was a really quick and fun read and I loved it and can’t wait for the next one! Leo finally realizes that there is more to life than what he has and he shouldn’t have waited so long to come back home. Idiot male. Lol.

Leo Steele left Broken Bend fifteen years ago with nothing and is now coming home a billionaire. He is the CEO of the most popular hook up app out there. He has been living in Chicago but is coming home for his high school reunion. He didn’t want to come home but his foster mother, Mama Mae, guilted him into making the weekend trip. He can’t wait to see Mama Mae and his best friend Ethan Monroe. The one person he doesn’t want to see his Ethan’s younger sister Olivia because all those years ago, he broke her heart and left town.
Ethan and some of the other guys pick Leo up at the Austin airport and they are taking him to Club Curve, a gentlemen’s club that happens to be on the way out of Austin.
Olivia Monroe and her best friend Shiva are at Club Curve for amateur night. They have been taking pole dancing classes for exercise. Olivia finds that pole dancing also helps boost her self esteem. Olivia hides her identity by putting on a blonde wig and heavy makeup.
What happens when Leo is at Club Curve and is fascinated by her dancing and her curves? Will she let him come in the dressing room? Will she get answers to why Leo turned her down and left her? Will Ethan find out that Leo and Olivia liked each other back in high school?
I liked the character of Olivia.

Olivia has been taking pole dancing classes and is now in a club in costume so no one can recognize her. That is until a bunch of guys come in for a party. One guy can't take his eyes off of her. Leo is home and his friends take him to a club. His attention is glued to the dancer in stage. He needs to meet her. Going back stage to get a few minutes with her is harder then he though. Money talks and having more money then he knows what to do with it, he flashes it around and gets to talk to the dancer for a few minutes. Being in the room with her he gets a sense he knows her. He knows her alright, its Olivia his best friends sister. She's the reason he left town all those years ago Olivia realizes who it is and with mixed emotions, she lets him talk. She finds out he left her broken hearted because he liked her but her brother was his best friend. That didn't stop her feelings for him. They ended up selling and things were going great between them by he needed to tell her brother they were together. Easier said than done. Her brother wasn't happy but that didn't matter as long as Olivia was. She was very happy to get the man back she had always liked and now loved. They ended up getting married and now she dances just for her husband.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I will definitely be reading more. I absolutely loved this one. If you like second chance romance, brothers best friends and instalove this is definitely one to read. This book is part of the multi author Club Curve series but also ties into the Mama Mae Series /books. Olivia Monroe and Leo Steele two amazing characters that you absolutely love reading about. Two people who get their second chance. Leo grew up as one of Mama Mae's boys who left town after graduating. He has been desperately trying to outrun his feelings for Olivia for 15 years. But nothing was working. He knew coming back to Broken Bend and seeing her again was going to bring everything back to the surface. Olivia grew up in Broken Bend and has never left. She wanted so bad to give herself to Leo and be his but he left her with no reason as to why. Now it all comes to the forefront when he sees her dancing on the stage as Luscious Legend. All it takes is one look, one touch and Leo is lost. He cannot deny his feelings or his love any longer. But Olivia is not going to make it easy on him. I absolutely love Olivia's perspectives and the choices that she makes. I loved this storyline and the characters. I will definitely be reading more from this series and this author.
Leo came from a poor family and doesn't feel like he is as good as everyone around him including his best friend and family. He even has special feelings for Olivia, his friend's little sister. When his friend drags him out to a strip club for amatuer night, he is shocked to see Olivia doing pole dancing. He can't resist her anymore.
Olivia was broken hearted when Leo left home. She always had a crush on him. He has been gone for 15 years but she hasn't forgotten him. She hasn't found anyone else who made her feel the same way. Now she is spreading her wings. She has been taking pole dancing for exercise and building confidence. Now she is ready to show off her skills at amatuer night even though she is in costume. After her performance, she has a customer wanting to see her. To her shock it is Leo.

Eve London brings her world of Broken Bend, TX and Mama Mae's boys into the new multi-author Club Curves series for a fabulous brother's best friend romance, One Night with the Player. For the past fifteen years, Leo has stayed away from his home of Broken Bend, knowing he left behind the little sister of his best friend with a broken heart. Now a billionaire with a best-selling hook-up app on the market, he is back in town for a high school reunion. He thinks he's covertly arranged it so Olivia is out of town - and instead is shocked to find her pole dancing in a gentleman's club. Seeing the woman he left behind now as an irresistibly curvy beauty, can Leo ignore the feelings that have never subsided or will he finally have do everything in his power to win of the girl he left behind? A swoon-worthy, spicy, fun second chance romance that is another fabulous read off the pen of Eve London.

One Night with the Player is a mixed bag for me. Leo and Olivia have intense chemistry and clearly love each other. Olivia was devastated when he left after high school, rejecting her advances at the time because she was just 15. Respect holding that boundary, but then he becomes a f*ck boy because he wants to outrun his feelings? Hard pass. Clearly their chemistry never died, as he is immensely attracted to this stranger now 15 years in the future. But when she reveals herself all is forgiven and they pickup again immediately? Hard sell there. I get it’s a short story, but really she should have more self-respect and hold him accountable for the way he left things. I get people make mistakes, but really? Nah. Talk it out and air it out; he hurt her badly and she just runs back to him the moment he is interested again. I love Eve London’s writing and world building, but I wanted more from this one.

I loved One Night with the Player: Club Curve Series. Leo was coming home to Broken Bend and hoping to avoid Olivia. He broke her heart many years before and he didn’t want to have to talk to her about it. He gave her up once, he couldn’t do it again. Then a dancer at Club Curve gets his attention, imagine his surprise when it’s Olivia. Now that he’s seen her can he give her up again? He knows he should but can he? This was a hot, hot, hot storyline and I just loved the characters. I loved how Olivia used her dance classes to find confidence in her size. I love how Leo thought he was doing the right thing staying away from Olivia. It was a sweet story about finding happiness the second time around. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

I received this ebook ARC, from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review. Once again we meet another boy, that Mama Mae had raised. All of these were boys from troubled families, but with the love, that Mama Mae gave them, they have become upstanding citizens. Leo and Olivia have known each other as youths. He was best friends with Olivia’s brother, and refused to cross that border, even thou there was an attraction. Leo broke Olivia’s heart and left town. Leo returns to town for his high school reunion, hopping that he will not see Olivia. A night in a club, leads to him seeing Olivia, and re-establishing their relationship. The attraction is still very strong, and they admit their true feelings to each other. They confront Olivia’s brother, and tell him that they plan to marry. He eventually accepts their relationship, and the couple finally obtain their HEA.
This is a new stand alone story in the "Club Curve" series. A club where soulmates are finding their missing pieces. This on is a brother's best friend and love of my life plot about Olivia and Leo. This is a sweet and steamy read that pulls at your heartstrings, makes you go "Really" and makes you smile. I love the characters in the short and quick read. Leo left after graduation and refuses to come back home. He is a very wealthy man with a playboy reputation. Olivia, his best friend's sister, is the reason he has stayed away. No he is coerced into coming home for his high school reunion. He thinks he has planned everything and she will be on a cruise while he is home. He visits Club Curve with his best friend when he is struck by the mesmerizing Luscious Legend. I really enjoyed every bit of this story.
I have been a huge fan of Eves books for a while now, needless to say Mamma Mae and her boys are a particular favourite of mine and that goes for Leo too. He left Broken Bend to better himself and make himself worthy of Olivia’s love the girl he turned down 15 yrs ago and consequently breaking her heart in the process. He returns for a school reunion but before that his best friend Ethan ( Olivia’s brother no less) organises an evening at Club Curve. There he becomes fascinated with a pole dancer in disguise doing everything he can to meet her. He realises that the woman of his dreams IS the woman of his dreams. Some wooing ensues, throw in a little grovelling and a whole load of steam and we have an HEA. I liked the main characters a lot, Ethan seemed a bit juvenile but Shiva is the sort of friend every woman needs. Amazing read.
Olivia was in love with her brother's best friend Leo but he left town years ago and broke her heart. Leo loved Olivia, but wanted his business to succeed and was relying on his best friends support so didn't want to ruin it by having a relationship with his friends sister. Years later he returns for his school reunions, thinking that he has gotten Olivia and her parents out of town with a cruise. But Olivia didn't go on the cruise and she has decided to test out her pole dancing class moves at the strip club outside of town, that Leo happens to go to with his friends on his return to town. Will he realise that it is Olivia on the stage, will he finally give into his feelings for her and will she forgive him for leaving her years ago.

I enjoyed this instalove all in OTT romance, Leo has been in love with Olivia since she she was 15, she offered herself to Leo (18) but her rejected her and left the next day. She knows he loves/d her and doesn't understand why he left. 15 years later and he is back in town for a school reunion he has been guilted into attending. When they meet again, sparks fly, but Olivia won't give in until she knows this is forever.
I did enjoy this, it was fun and sensual, I did think 15 years was too long a gap especially if we are to believe the smart and confident Olivia is still a virgin. But the story was well paced and had love, steam and all the components needed to make this a worthwhile read.

Leo and Olivia had been in love since they were teenagers but Leo left before he could take things further with his best friends sister. He didn’t think he was good enough for her and didn’t want to lose his best friend. Olivia was heartbroken. 15 years on he was back in Broken Bend and Olivia was determined ti find out why he left her. One look at Olivia and Leo knows she is still the love of his life and he is never letting her go again. Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, true love, a determined, loving hero and a wonderful HEA. The only disappointment was that despite being the love of each others lives Leo spent 15 years sleeping around whole Olivia waited for him.

Leo left Broken Bend fifteen years ago because he didn’t feel he could give Olivia what she needed and he didn’t want to ruin his friendship with her brother. Leo is back for his high school reunion but things don’t work out the way he planned. Olivia has been taking pole dancing lessons as a form of exercise and building her confidence. Her night in Club Curve doesn’t end how she expects. There were lots of troupes in this story and it was well written and engaging. Olivia was strong and independent and wasn’t willing to be left behind for a second time. Leo knew he loved Olivia and finally got the chance to not only tell her but show her how he felt. Their chemistry was still electric after all their years apart. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

When the two run into each other at Club Curve the sparks reignite and both realize they can't live without the other. Will they be able to handle Ethan? This is a hot short read with a great HEA. Definitely recommend.

This book is part of the multi-author Club Curve series featuring Leo and Olivia's sweet second chance romance. Leo and Olivia have known each other since they were kids he was her brother's best friend. The two of them were attracted to each other but they never acted on their feelings. Leo wound up breaking Olivia's heart and leaving town but now he's back 15yrs later for his HS reunion and to finally claim Olivia. You really need to read this sweet second chance romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

I thought the connection and chemistry between Leo and Olivia was good, they had history which both hadn't moved on from, although Leo had certainly tried! (Good for Olivia calling him on this) The way they both met again was an interesting one and gave Leo the kick he needed. The time they were apart felt a little long for me and a couple of times thoughts and actions didn't quite mesh for me personally. I was left with a question at the end of this book, which was answered by clicking on the link at the end for the bonus scene.

Leo is out with friends at a club when he sees Olivia dancing for amateur night. After she is done, he tries to go backstage to see her but isn't allowed. However, when he gets a chance to just speak to her, he is stunned to see its his best friend's sister. They talk and things that they never talked about before come out. Will this finally be their chance to be together?
