It was just supposed to be a six-month contract. No feelings. No complications. A fake marriage to solve two real problems.
Dua Sikandar is tired of her grandmother’s relentless matchmaking, and Zaviyar Abaan, CEO of Abaan Construction, is haunted by a painful past and desperate to escape his mother’s push for marriage. Their solution? A strategic, six-month contract marriage complete with a signed legal agreement. To ensure distance, Dua even allows Zaviyar to mistakenly believe she prefers women.
The plan is perfect—until life intervenes.
Their carefully controlled agreement is shattered by a devastating accident that wipes Zaviyar's memory of the last eight years. The guarded, cold man is gone, replaced by a charming, openly affectionate husband who believes Dua is the love of his life. In his eyes, she is his entire world, his peace, and his home.
Dua falls utterly, deeply in love with this new version of her husband, cherishing every stolen moment of affection and adoration, knowing this blissful borrowed time must end. Because the moment Zaviyar's memory returns, he will remember the contract, her lie, and the betrayal he fears all women are capable of.
Can Dua convince him that the love they found was real before the man from the past destroys their future or will the return of Zaviyar's shattered memories destroy the beautiful future, she is secretly dreaming for them both?

Book : Can't Let You Go : Romantic Novel
Author : Shazia Akhter
Format : Kindle Edition
Ratings : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Can't Let You Go: A Romantic Novel" was the short and crisp story of Dua Sikandar, a 28-year-old woman who lived happily with her grandmother. Zaviyaar Abaan, the owner of Abaan Construction, a famous company in Indore, had a dark past that always lurked behind him, despite his success as a businessman.

These two led completely different lives. While Dua always felt she would marry someone she fell for, Zaviyaar never wanted to get married to anyone. However, to keep their families happy, they got married, but it was merely a contractual arrangement. Their personal lives turned into a mess, with differences of opinion, stubbornness, and emotions becoming entangled without their knowledge.

Then, an unexpected turn changed the flow of the story completely, adding romance and thrill. The revelation of Dua's unexpected secrets made her vulnerable, along with uncovering Zaviyaar's past. Would they both find their path in the same direction?

I enjoy the author's interesting stories. They are filled with humor, entertainment, romantic angles, and unexpected twists, making her narratives thrilling and engaging. Her stories are succinct and to the point.
