I don't really know why I picked up this book at the library to read because I'm not planning on selling my home, but it was interesting nonetheless. It shows the difference between an interior decorator (designs the interior to your habits and preferences) and a home stager (gets the home sale-ready to appeal to as many people as possible). The pictures were good at showing how staging can really make a room more attractice and appealing, but it would have been better if they were in colour. I also would have liked if they had included some pictures of the warm neutral paint colours that home stagers recommend.
