This was a very different novella. I felt it had so much potential but seemed to fall short a bit. Mateja is supposed to be a domineering, extremely wealthy, hot man. But somehow he isn't described very well and I had trouble picturing who he was. It was too obscure. The whole story left me feeling like I didn't really understand it. It didn't seem to be going anywhere, there was no plot in a way and far too much emphasis put on secondary characters.This left me not understanding exactly what the plot was and what the book was about.
I didn't understand why Mateja wanted to be with Rebecca and even what their relationship was. It seemed a bit vague and confusing.
However, I did enjoy their chemistry and the sexual relationship Mateja and Rebecca had. They were very hot together and their sex was passionate.
I did go on to read the next book. It does continue with their story. It does get a little better.

I've been on an indie binge lately and I don't regret it. This book and a few others have been very entertaining.
I wanted to be a sexual vixen just like Rebecca. I like that she wasn't pinned as innocent or devious, but rather a nice mixture of curious and enthralled. Nice intro to a series with some information about the characters and great SMUT. I want to know more about Mateja.
Reason I didn't rate it 5 stars: some errors. Sorry. I am not a grammer wiz myself, but that counts.

So disappointing when poor editing leaves a story w ith grammatical and spelling errors. Unfortunately
this story had so many that it was impossible to enjoy what would have otherwise been a good, short erotic novel. This is also obviously meant to be a continuing story so I hope that better editing is employed with further endeavours.

Rebecca is home from school and ends up falling head over heels for Mateja, a young, handsome millionaire. This romance happens in seconds, which leaves you wondering how and why. I enjoyed the story but wish Rebecca had a stronger back bone. This book leaves all sorts of unanswered questions and I have to know more! WaAR

Great read...solid plot, character development, and satisfying love scenes. I don't have that much experience with erotic novels, but I found Joined to be interesting. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down till it was finished. Good luck Ms. Stone!!
