Breslin's work on Williams is (mostly) clear and deeply focused on its subject. He offers extensive literary analysis that is thoughtful and interesting. Breslin rightly notes that the early Modernist notion of the self's break from society was thought to be emancipatory and liberating. This is reflected throughout Williams' work, who saw the process of creation stemming from a prior de-creation. While I appreciate Williams' love of locality and its role in the creative process, I am more attracted to Eliot's vision of poetry, which I think better explains the relationship between metaphysics, place, and affection. That being said, Williams is an interesting and generative poet in his own right, well worth your consideration. To this end, Breslin's work is, similarly, well worth your time.
