Treasure for Treasure

A partly-constructed tunnel under the East River in New York City would seem to be the most unlikely source of wealth and fame. Dick Creegan, sandhog, didn't expect to find it there either until he discovered some strange "rocks'. This piece of good fortune resulted in the dazzling debut of a bungling bunch of amateur crooks who, aided by the captivating Jeannie, Rollswagen-driver and companion of the ferocious Howard, strove desperately to prevent their new-found riches from slipping through their fingers. As they became increasingly frantic at the possibility of such a loss, their antics grew more outrageous and farcical by the minute.
