A little dated, but some good ideas for structuring your band program to be more than just a rehearsal class. I wish they'd provided a more relevant piece of music to use as a unit and lesson sample. The piece he chose, while surely great music, would, I think, be prohibitively difficult for most high school band programs. It would have been better to use a more broadly-appealing piece (meaning a level that is more applicable to the average program).
