This book is about race relations in the world in the mid-sixties. It's an inch deep and a mile wide touching on conflicts in south africa, vietnam, usa, england, isreal/palestine. Really nice brief introductions to lots of different situations around that time. Brockway was an interesting dude. He was a pretty open socialist at a time when that was pretty unpopular. He lived to be 98 (1888-1986) and wrote the whole time. He was a pacifist all his life intill the Spanish Civil War, at which point he stopped being a pacifist. You should read a book by him; he's a really good writer with a pretty interesting perspective.
