It’s official; Harrison Towers is engaged to Marion Devereaux.
Danielle struggles to pick up the pieces of her shattered life after her steamy affair with the enigmatic mogul comes to a screeching halt. She chastises herself for letting her guard down and tries to suppress her feelings for the man who possessed her body and stole her heart.

Making matters worse, Danielle finds herself the victim of a mysterious stalker, who seems to know her every move. Caught in a tangled web of danger, money and power, Danielle begins to despair, as escape seems impossible.

Meanwhile, things are not exactly what they seem with Harrison and Marion. Harrison’s insatiable appetite for Danielle may not have been extinguished with the announcement of his upcoming nuptials. Refusing to accept her resignation from the HQ decorating project, Harrison ensures that Danielle is not entirely out of his grasp.

Will Harrison and Danielle be able to keep their hands off each other, or will they rekindle the fire that burned between them? Will their connection be strong enough to see them through the journey on which fate has set them, or will meddling forces come between them?

★★★★1/2! Shattered, book 2 (Glass Towers Trilogy). The explosive continuation of Harrison’s & Danielle’s story filled with off -the-charts sex, lies, deceit, secrets, suspense, greed & danger!

IF YOU HAVEN’T PEEKED AT THE AUTHORS’ DESCRIPTION OF BOOK 2 & 3 – PLEASE DON’T! YOU WILL ENJOY BOOK 1 MORE WITHOUT IT. I HAVE AIMED TO KEEP MY REVIEW VAGUE.

The Glass Towers trilogy is the story of small-town interior designer Danielle and larger-than-life, enigmatic and possessive international business mogul Harrison Towers. What starts off as of-the-charts sex will soon turn into a romance against all odds. Their story is marred with secrets and intrigue, surprises and scandals, mysteries and above all danger. There are several villains set on breaking them apart, stalkers with missions so sinister it will span all three books. Be prepared to be swept away by their story!

Series is complete and consists of:
1) Champagne Showers
2) Shattered
3) Surrendered

SHATTERED (BOOK 2) - MIGHT CONTAIN SOME MINOR SPOILERS

Hero: Harrison Giles Towers/French-Canadian/42 years old/business mogul/$$$$/sandy blond hair/crystal blue eyes
Heroine: Danielle Austen (formerly Pyne)/American/28 years old/owner of interior design firm/recently divorced/dark brown hair/blue eyes (later described as green?)

Without revealing too much it’s safe to say that book 1 ended with a “shattering” cliffhanger! When Danielle, in frustration, tossed her mobile phone into the ocean I wanted to toss my Kindle along with it.

Chocking! Brutal! Heart-breaking! The deceit will blow you away!

Danielle will grow a bit of a backbone in this story. And as she struggles to put her life back together Harrison is desperately trying to savor his budding romance with Danielle. He is willing to say and do anything to have it his way.

But don’t judge by appearances only! There are mitigating circumstances for the deceit. I promised an amazing hero in this series and Harrison is that and more! By nature and as result of his past he is enigmatic and secretive, but if he wants a chance with Danielle he is going to have to open up and step up his game. And he will, mostly by continuing to charm and captivate. And when everything else fails count on Harrison aka Sex God to turn up the heat:

Dominance:
“He takes both of my hands and places them above my head. He loves to be in control. I love being taken control of, dominated and just feeling his body, without sight. I can't guess what he will do next. He knows exactly how to get to me by taking my tactile senses away. His hands pushing mine together into the leather, as he unleashes his…”

Traditional:
“He pushes me onto my back and mounts me, missionary style, while using his hand to rub against my wetness, wiping it up and down his c~ck…”

All Harrison:
“...the mix of the cool desert air and Harrison's hot tongue pushed deep inside of me. My body is aching and convulsing with pleasure, as he works me over...”

Meanwhile, the plot thickens with villains, stalkers, maybe even murderers with motives so sinister that breaking them apart doesn’t appear to be enough! And just as this roller-coaster romance is making headway the story ends with another chocking cliff-hanger. But don’t fret just open up and continue with book 3, the final installment in the series.

Since I can’t reveal too much of the story let me reveal these tidbits about Harrison:

SEXY/CUTE TRAITS OF HARRISON’S
* Knowing smirk!
* Biting his (full) lower lip.
* When deep in thought, moving his finger over his lips.

SEX WITH HARRISON
* He has an oral fixation!
* He orders/demands that her look him in the eyes when she “cums”.
* He is truly insatiable.
* He keeps track of new locations for sex…. or at least he did until he lost count.

My only gripes are the frequent use of “p” (Danielle’s abbreviation for “pussy”). Not as prevalent as in book 1, but alternate words for “cum” would have been refreshing.

The Glass Towers trilogy is an excellent read. While the suspense and intrigue will keep you glued to your book, I promise you it will be Harrison who will make you come back for more!

What happens around the heroine:
1) Her apartment gets broken in (at least 4 times)
2) Her cellphone receives calls from an unknown number multiple times and has weird breathing sounds on the other line
3) Photos of her daily life and sex life(even from a year ago) taken and posted on her room and bathroom
4) She acquires a new phone (she threw the old one;read last page of book 1) and as soon as she opens it, the mystery caller strikes again
5) Somebody pushes her back and her knees gets scraped
6) She shacks up with her best friend to hide and when they go the parked car, a rose was on the wiper
7) She often sees her ex-husband (who hasn't appeared for a year since the divorce) everywhere and sometimes, she sees him looking at her differently (like getting mad; shadow appearing; etc) then suddenly his face returns to normal
8) She's scared

What the hero wants:
1) Get security detail

And what does she do? Reject it of course! And goes away. Argh, I really hated this heroine. I often wished that she gets kidnapped or stabbed or shot at or whatever sinister deed in the book!

I still haven't read the whole thing yet. Half-way done.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Seriously. Who reads this shit? I mean, I read it, but honestly- to see the reviews... that's deceiving. :/

RANT: A heroine as stupid as this deserves to be killed. I swear, somebody give me a knife right now. And if she's killed, she's gonna lie there thinking 'this is a joke, and not happening'.
Like when she does as she has a phone stalker, and gets a missed call EVERYDAY, some at midnight, and thinks 'it's a telemarketer'.

Don't.Fucking.Insult.My.Intelligence.

Anyway, I cannot believe this is dragging out over three books. Kill me now. And I know people are gonna say 'Don't read the books if you don't want to' but this is horrifying, like watching a train wreck.

Wowed me once again! This book was HOT, EROTIC, kept me turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next. I literally read this in one day like the first book! VERY SATISFIED and panting once again at the sexy hot and erotic sex scenes. The pool scene in Palm Springs, I almost ran out of breath it was so freaking hot. My husband is very happy I am reading these! ;)THIS IS A PAGE TURNER, just like the first book. Would I recommend this book, OH YES. Am I buying Book 3, you bet! Thanks again for another winner. When can I buy the 3rd!?

While reading this book I felt I should be sitting in a field under an oak tree, pulling petals off a flower, repeating "should I trust him, should I not".

The scandal surrounding Harris is tormenting. In a short amount of time, Danielle's happy-go-lucky life returns to uncertainty and challenges. While she wishes for mercy she questions her ability to fully trust Harris and is trying to probe how much she can emotionally tolerate. She is not only protecting her emotions; Harris suggests she is protecting her life and possibly the well being of those close to her. Even with scandal looming, Harris finds a way to give uninhibited, erotic pleasure (...thank god, because without this I would shake Danielle and tell her to run...)! Harris is so fabulous in, and out, of the bedroom, it makes you want to beg for a Harris of your own!! He still keeps some of his life a somewhat secret, convincing Danielle that it's best for her not to know, "in all due time", is his famous words. What he does communicate is confusing, and at times, hard to digest.

As the book progresses Harris loses his this is just physical, take it or leave it attitude. He becomes sweeter, if that is possible, and endearing (...you can't help but to love him!) By the end of the book Harris is asking the hard questions; "what does Danielle want in life? ...marriage, kids, where to live, etc" ...sigh...finally Harris is discussing the unchartered territory. This story proves that with wealth comes lies and betrayal, and it explains why a man of his statue guards his business and emotions with armory. In my professional book reading experience (haha) and with fingers crossed, the next book their happily ever after. However, nothing comes easy when Marion is around. And Bradley, what the hell is Bradley up to, I'm sure he will play a devilish role in their future. Any man that farts during sex does not have good intentions!

BOOK TWO THE PLOT THICKENS

After Harrison's betrayal Danielle, can't believe she's fallen for another man who's out to deceive her. She should have learnt her lesson after divorcing Bradley.

But Harrison seems to have other ideas regarding Danielle. He's determined she fulfils her contract at the Towers. But since she found out he is engaged to Marion, Danielle wants nothing to do with him. But everything is not what is appears, as Danille soon discovers.

In this second instalment the tension is racked up another notch. The ever present threat to Danille is increased. The police are involved but they are not making much progress. Harrison knows who is behind everything, but proving it is another matter. Bradley Danielle's ex-husband is still popping up unexpectedly which Danille is becoming tired of. Surely he doesn't expect Danille to take him back! He's the ultimate cheater.
As Harrison and Danille move their relationship further forward. They know they are taking a risk.
The second book is another exciting, and sexy read. I love Harrison and Danille together they are a great couple. Harrison is a hot and sexy hero, while Danille compliments him perfectly. I liked it that she's not a wimp.
I am looking forward to book three, I hope we don't have to wait too long!

3.5 Stars!
I enjoyed this one much more than the first, so I wanted to show a difference in the rating...but I still consider both in the '3 star' range.

What I was waiting for throughout book one was emotion, something else besides physical attraction to Harrison. I didn't hold much of a connection with him in the first book. Sure he is rich, gorgeous, and a sex god but there was something missing. Then in this book, the tables turned completely. Now the "L" word is thrown around, he becomes Mr. Romantic in the most unexpected ways, and planted the seed of 'forever' with his sex goddess, Danielle.

Marion is still lurking and causing problems. A big secret unfolds with her ex, Bradley. Then the teaser at the end about the Cayman Islands!?! WOW!

Cons: The "P" thing still infuriates me. Over-use of the word "loins", and misc other adjectives. Some of the sentences were choppy, the follow just wansn't there. Sort of like my review! LOL But I'm just throwing out random thoughts.

But overall I enjoyed this book more and I'm looking forward to the last book, whenever that may be published.

Harrison Towers I like you now!! The second book in this trilogy is much better! Heartbreak is in store for Danielle as the ending to the first installment had Harrison engaged to Marion!! In this book, Harrison opens up more and he isn't hiding his true feelings for Danielle Yay! He's romantic, attentive and considerate of her feelings. Of course, he still attends to her every desire! They barely come up for air, but now it's better since they are both invested emotionally. Marion is a shrew and is trying to make Danielle's life hell!! Bradley is a scary douche! His creep factor is increasing. I really enjoyed Danielle and Harrison's interaction in this book it was less reserved and not always about jumping each others bones! They actually get know more about one another! Danielle was more out spoken and challenged Harrison more that was good! I do have to say it's sexy when Towers speaks french to Danni! I'm ready to see what happens next!

Oy vey, another DAMN cliffhanger!!! But, at least by the very small teaser at the end of Shattered, we get the idea of where some of the suspense is coming from.....damn Marion and Bradley! I actually didn't see that coming...but it kind of makes sense now. I really REALLY just need to know when the 3rd book will be released...like, really soon hopefully.

Its a good series so far, and considering both books have been free on Amazon, makes it worth the reading...my ONLY wish/hope, is that by the end of the trilogy, Danielle is forced in some way, shape or form to actually SAY the "P" word...seeing it written that many times as "P" considering all of the other very dirty things coming out of the mouth of Harrison Towers, it gets almost comical..I need her to be brave and say the "P" word! LOL

Wow, a lot happens in this book...I knew there was something wrong with Bradley but can't believe the ending...how dare he!!!! Marion, what a piece of work...I hope she gets her just desserts in book 3...loved the last newspaper headline FAN FREAKING TASTIC bet that went down like a lead balloon.. Harrison Towers...as much as I want him to be he does not make my book boyfriend list, there is something missing and I cannot quite put my finger on it...definitely hot, definitely rich, definitely alpha but just arggghhh not quite sure...Danielle, I really hope she gets her HEA, she needs one...especially after Bradley she has a great best friend, great parents and Harrison obviously adores her and I just hope that this will be enough...hopefully book 3 will be DING DONG THE WICKED WITCH IS DEAD!!

3.5 stars..I enjoyed part deux of this trilogy, but feel it lacks a little something. Harrison is the perfect alpha male, and has softened during this book. The storyline is good, and I did have an idea who Marion was working with..I guess it boils down to the emotional connection they have..,lots of "I love you's" and plenty of rip roaring fuckery, but I didn't always believe the intensity of their relationship.

I hope with the scene now set, we will get to see how the relationship grows..looking forward to the finale!

The heroine is too much a Miss Priss to use the word "pussy" and substitutes it with "P" - please spare me. On the other hand she and the hero talk constantly about "cumming" which is a word that I find totally unerotic and which is used frequently and inflationary in this romance. If there's ever been too much sex and too little plot than it applies to this trilogy. I only read one and a half books before I had to give up out of sheer boredom. D for the first installment and DNF for the second.

This was entertaining but became very repetitive. To me the sex scenes were just about the same, I would have liked things to be changed up a little. I don't like Harrison he has his secrets and will not answer any question with a straight answer. Harrison is a typical bully. I like Danielle but she is losing who she is, I would like to see her stand up for herself and walk away from Harrison, that way he will give her the respect she deserves and reevaluate his actions. The suspense end of the story is very good. I'm invested and will continue to read. If you like suspense that part is good, if you can get past the rest.

So this series was a pretty big let down for a variety of reasons, from character development to editing it needs a complete overhaul! I write this having read all three books (after the apparent rewrite of the infamous "P" word) and find they all lacked the same qualities that I find necessary in a GOOD book. I felt this was amateur hour. For example:

1. Neither character is all that inspiring. You want to feel something for them, you can almost start to, but they both seem so shallow and one dimensional. Hero and heroine can have flaws and still be loved...think Christian Grey...these two read like 18 year old dunces.

1a. Harrison is supposed to be a mega wealthy mogul, but his security team isn't vetted and his lead guy "Albert" spends most of his presence watching reality tv and listening to sports on his ear buds? That character alone could have added a deeper level of drama and suspense. I appreciate the writers trying to bring out a more tender part of Harrison by book two, but it was too little too late...kisses on foreheads and "I love yous" mouthed across a room (repeatedly) do not a romantic make! Also, what was with the whole, "that's business" nonsense. If the writers had allowed Harrison to open up about his work stresses and challenges, we (and Dani) would have more incite into his life and him. We would care for him more! And why have him doubt the level of threat Marion posed throughout most of the three books? Really!!!? It seemed so obvious but the characters were written to be obtuse.

1b. Danielle...ugh this character!!! What a simpering, annoying cry baby that married towers and started sounding like a simpering annoying SNOBBY cry baby! She actually used the words "little chit" in describing a "housekeeper" who had eyes for her hubby. She came off so whiny. Yes she was in a terrible position, but all the crying, sobbing, whining and just plain stupidity were so unnecessary!!! Do something smart about it all for heavens sake!!! Stop throwing yourself on your bed and "sobbing your eyes out!" For instance, she's already been attacked while running, but she decided to go for another run the day after she returns married...fully aware that the stalker is out for blood. But does she choose a treadmill? Nope! She chooses a secluded part of the park on an isolated trail away from other runners and tells her security guard to stay in the car...oh ok says the dumb reality tv addict "security guard!" Really??? How dumb do you have to be??? Also if she ignored the unknown caller calls and referred to them as telemarketers one more time I was going to scream!! At Some point, not only are the writers insulting the intelligence of their characters, but they've started to treat the readers as imbeciles too!

2. The sex scenes. Ugh!! In book one I felt like there was a couple lines of dialogue, then several (5-6) pages of raunchy sex then a couple lines of dialogue and repeat! And it just kept going like that. The day to day relationship building moments took a major back seat and would be summarized in a couple lines the next day before another romp in a new "location" was dissected in the most graphic of details. Now I like erotica but this garbage read like a porno script. It would have been nice to read them converse and get to know one another and by converse I don't mean sitting at a restaurant, Harrison cutting Danielle off when she asks about his work, saying "that's business" (is that supposed to be hot??) and proceeding to "talk" about how much they want to do each other instead of being at dinner!! Yes those tidbits and moments can be hot and steamy, but not when that's how it is every single time they go anywhere!!! We get it!!! You're both horny! By books 2 & 3, there was a little more character development, excursions and adventures, but not much more in a meaningful way. They did fade away from a few sex scenes thankfully, so we got a break there but I still started to skim through most of the remaining sex scenes. There was absolutely NO, I mean ZERO!!!! Making love in any of these books. Not even after being injured and recovering for 6 weeks did we get a making love scene. Nope. Just pure raunch and "fucking" and "ramming" and "riding" and a plethora of other action verbs that left absolutely nothing to the imagination!!

3. Now not to be annoying, but the number of typos and grammar mistakes in these books was ridiculous. I just have to mention it! Really?!?! Get a better editor. And did it really take a "writing team" to come up with this story? Seriously? Cut half the sex scenes. Switch a few to making love scenes. Spend some time writing dialogue and back story for your main characters...then actually DEVELOP them and you got yourself a 350 page stand alone SINGLE book! Not a "trilogy!"

I could go on, but I think you get my point here. A lot wrong and not a heck of a lot right with these books.

this one was better than the last one it was still in my "meh...i had read betters" shelf but at least it wasn't a god why am i reading this kind of a book. i enjoyed some parts of the book but not all of it.
i didn'tlike the sex part because of the P thing that was really irritating, i find my self skipping over them just so i don't have to see the damn P. i mean come on you are naming everything but you can't say that. it just didn't sit well with me.
the other part that i didn't like was the detective's part. i can't get him is he a good guy or a bad guy. is he even doing what he suppose to and why he is always anoyed when dani ask him something about the invastigation.
oh and harrison, i don't kow why but he doesn't come accross to me as a hero usually does he s realy cold and icy to me most of the time.
the only part that i like are the stalker parts. i think its because it adds a bit of flaver to story or else it would have been really mild. oh i also like the wine bitch character. i always enjoy cat fights in a book, it makes things intersting.

I rate this book 2.5 stars. It's much better than Book 1. Dani shows some spine. Harrison shows other emotions instead of lust. Dani comes to know the truth about Marion & Harrison's engagement..

Harrison throws the "L" word. They actually have conversation which is a huge plus.
Bradley is still annoying. He keeps popping up unexpectedly.Simone makes brief appearances. Henry is the adorable Choc Labrador. The stalker keeps terrorizing Dani.

I skipped all the sex scenes. I don't think I can bear reading about "P" and "loins".The cliffhanger was unexpected. A much better read than Book 1. Looking forward to Book 3.

OH YA! The mystery intensifies, the plot thickens and here we go!!!! LOVED this 2nd book in the trilogy. I swear, I was kept on the edge of my seat really throughout the first two books. These books have the right mix of sex, mystery, suspense, fun, sexiness, hilarious moments, and page turners. I have waited a long time to read another trilogy that I loved. I can't wait for the author to put out more books. PLUS these books have substance. Lots of juicy and intriguing pages. I get so pissed off when I but a book these days online and it is like 60-100 pages, come on really? This author hit the mark. I can't wait to find out the ending to this book.

YOU WILL NOT REGRET BUYING THIS BOOK AND THE FIRST ONE!! Especially if you love LOVE, ROMANCE, SEX, MYSTERY, SUSPENSE, THRILLERS, GREED, POWER, MONEY, LUST and lots of twists and turns! Well done.

This Trilogy has a Fantastic story line. Lots of mystery.
Tons of Hot steamy raunchy sex- I read the second book right after the first one and I have to admit now that there were just too many sex scenes- Gasp I know but the sex scenes are back to back read it and tell me your thoughts. I find it alarming that Danielle doesn't tell Harrison or someone about all the little things that happen to her - she seems to aloof about it sometimes. Bradley seems to know more about what Danielle is doing that anyone else but she doesn't mention that to anyone either. Bradley defiantly has something up his sleeve. The ending is a cliff hanger and leaves me with so many questions! Book 3 "Surrendered" is due out Mid-March thankfully.

This is the second book in the set, I enjoyed the first book so i had to buy the second with out delay and this book didn’t disappoint one bit. This book carries straight on from the first with even more suspense and mystery as well as the steamy and romantic story lines. I could not put them down with all the twists and turns in the story line, it kept me reading long into the night. this is definitely a must read series you'll love

(Note) My reviews of this series comes after having read all three.

This installment of the series was ultimately much better than the first, mostly because we finally start to get a sense of real feelings emerging from Harrison and Danielle.....I was glad to see it as Harrison seemed very detatched in the first book. The intrigue continues, but a pattern is emerging and a Villian (or two) are starting to become clearer if not obvious. Again, the sex scenes in this book could have been condensed a bit...they were like the energizer bunny....come on! The ending of this book does just what it is meant to do...have you going "What?"....and thus hooking you for book 3!

Again this was difficult to read, and I ended up changing the way I read it so I could get through it. Admittedly I skimmed the sex because reading my "P" and my loins every second sentence was irritating.

The lack of contractions within the characters dialogue again was very irritating, but changing that in my head while reading made the book less difficult to read. I understand formal English means people who have English as a second language may lapse into very formal speech but those who were born English speakers like Danielle easily use contractions when speaking.

Frustrating and it detracts from the story when you have to do more work while reading.

The book is as entertaining as the first. I liked that Danielle gave Harrison the boot when she learned he was engaged, and held on. When he crawled, as he should have, she sort of made peace but kept vigilant. I wasn't too happy with the fact that they kept on carrying on whilst Harrison was engaged. it was tacky. I would have preferred that they kept a distance while things were handled, but then there would have been no story. I knew Bradley was up to no good, so his association with the witch was no surprise to me. Now to wait for the final book and the resolution of the conflict.

Harrison got engaged to Marion because she was blackmailing him. Danielle is devastated. He assures her that its a farce. So they sneak around to see each other.

Danielle's stalker is getting brave and is making it known that she is being watched. Now she has to have security with her. Harrison is convince that it is Marion.

I was getting a little irritated with both Harrison and Danielle. Harrison wouldn't totally open up to Danielle about what is going on. Danielle keep refusing security even though she is terrified. Durrrr.

I want to give these books a good review but I can’t. The characters didn’t seem believable to me. They fell in love so fast and it seemed they barely had any time to even get to know each other. I love sex scenes as much as the next person, but not when it replaces conversation and takes up 70% of the book. By the end of the series I found myself skimming through the sex scenes because I was bored of them. I also hated that there was only one real problem and antagonist throughout the whole series. I wanted more action.
