This is the perfect summer read! Sweet, spicy, and so cozy. Marian and Lurker (Lann) have a rocky start and while it may be insta love for Lurker, it’s not quite the case for independent Marian. It’s therefore up to Lurker to prove that he’s the dark elf for Marian and that they’re meant to be a pair. Marian is such a smart, passionate, and witty FMC who is determined to make her own way in the world with her sister by her side. Lurker (Lann) is the broody, strong, and gorgeous dark elf that you’ll absolutely fall in love with. Definitely add this one to your tbr if you like slow burn romance, strong female leads, and broody dark elves. I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

This was similar to the first book in the series. Very cute light read. It's kind of a bummer that the 3rd book in the series isn't out.
