Jordan Maitlen, ECI Men’s Walk #43, Table of Self-Control👏🏻
I don’t usually read these little self-help books or whatever little books/stories you get from church or religious organizations. But I had such an amazing experience at Emmaus that I gave this a go and finished it in a few hours.
I actually think it’s essential reading if you’ve been on the walk before. There was a chapter or two that droned on a little, but I enjoyed learning about how The Walk to Emmaus started and I do legitimately think it’s pretty helpful, especially if you’re trying to stay in line with your Faith in God or genuinely want to have a really good “Fourth Day”. I learned speak stuff here that I want to try with some other local people in my area. We’ll see how that goes.
Rather you just finished your walk or maybe did a few weeks or months ago, give this a read. It’ll give you a great starting point.
