I got this book for more ideas on how to be more Catholic within a home consisting of a Catholic (me) and an agnostic. How can we blend meaningful, spirit-filled traditions into our lives?
I have the same problem with this book as I do with several Catholic family books. My family consists of my husband and myself. We haven't any children yet the assumption is that children are somehow involved. I need to find a book which is good for Catholic couples who aren't in their 20s. We're not young-marrieds; we don't fit the mold.
Beyond that, there are some cute traditions I can see building upon or modifying.
I read through this quickly. This would be a okay introductory book for someone just starting to incorporate traditions into their domestic church. There are much better and much more detailed titles available. Around the Year with the Von Trapp Family comes to mind.
