The third volume focused more on Shin's past; the reason he decided to become an embalmer. It was insightful because I never knew how much he had to learn. And it was poetic how he tried his best to give the departee family some sense of relief. The last story in this volume had a brief mentioned of child abuse. So, beware.

This volume is unexpectedly enlightening! I didn't anticipate how graphic and detailed the process of embalming would be presented in this manga. Reading this feels like a drug, very addicting! It was great to know what got Shin motivated to take such profession, and to see his struggles to finally be a licensed embalmer! I hope the 4th volume would be about the romance aspect next. haha

A good addition to this series. It was nice to see how hard Shin worked to become an embalmer and to see his mental dilemmas throughout. Still not as eye opening or shocking as the first in the series, but a good continuation. I hope to be able to read the 4th and final volume some time, if I can find it.
