I picked up this book at a library book sale for a $1 donation. Lucky me! 🍀 The book is an oldie but goodie for two main reasons, IMO. Though the sweater and hat patterns are a bit too fanciful/outdated for my taste, there are some wonderful motifs that designing knitters should find useful. Second, the mitten and sock/ stocking patterns are timeless and therefore current. In summary, this book is still relevant, I got lucky finding one at such a great price, and I have to at least mention my fits of giggles at the facial expressions on the darling children modeling the knits in the book’s photos! 🤣
