Deuteronomy 10:18 "Love therefore the stranger."
"Monotheism therefore demands that when we enter the Holy of Holies, we take a critical attitude toward human accomplishments, seeing them as neither ultimate nor irreplaceable. That is also why the Torah in Deuteronomy 10:18 claims that God loves the stranger, the non-Jew, the person who may not look like you, believe what you believe, or act the way you act. At a minimal level, to think like a monotheist is to give up any form of cultural or religious chauvinism." p. 37
