A wonderful book on filmmaking. Real-world knowledge and straight talk. I love how Barbara writes very candidly and straight-forwardly. And I particularly love the way she runs through seemingly mundane minutia examples - "So, you get a meeting that promises...but then imagine how your agent would feel...but perhaps that manager has a brother that doesn't like...and then they agree not to...". Walking through all the real world, messy ins-and-outs was very illuminating.
