I recently saw the Quilt Show episode with Laura Wasilowski and loved it! I'm relatively new to quilting so I'm eager to learn all I can. I dig the idea of fusing rather than stitching, but...these aren't practical quilts. They're "Art" quilts, and while I admire them, it doesn't really play well with my overriding need to create something both beautiful and functional. I do appreciate her expert advice on fusing in general and I can see some limited fusing making it into my quilts. Now Wasilowski also hand dyes her own fabric and sells it online. And it looks amazing. :)

Interesting ideas. I would come back to this again if I get to a place where I have time to start a new project!! Borrowed from city library.

The go-to book on this technique, but it's not my style. Yet, anyway.
