At the receiving end of this consciousness transmission, centered within an immense, starless area known as The Boötes Void, is an ancient, moon-sized spacecraft piloted by beings Thomas Martino will refer to as “the tutors”, one of whom teaches Thomas concepts and abilities previously unknown to mankind.
The hurried pace of project development, run by an overzealous, single-minded army major, Randall Thompson, causes the project to spiral out of control with terrible unforeseen consequences, jeopardizing humanity with an intergalactic incident.
