Waste.of.my.time. I kept at it thinking the next story would be better, as the writers who contributed are well regarded. The stories by Avi & Richard Peck were ok, the others were a disappointment, but the story by Madeleine L'Engle was pointless and quite frankly, bad. She wrote "A Wrinkle In Time" for God's sake- why did her short story suck so bad?!

I was a little disappointed. With some of the authors listed, I thought the stories will be better.

The only part I really liked was the idea of one short story in here, where a cave in Mexico has one hole where a beam of light shines down in X-ray intensity. If you step into it, you can see your bones.

Most of the short stories in here were a little weak in writing. I was especially confused with Madeleine L'Engle's contribution, as it had no substance.

Didn't really know whar to expect when I picked up this one. The short story by Madeline L'engle and the one by Richard Peck were ok, but the rest could have used a lot more story to make them even relatively good. Very weak writing in general...
