Communication on all cylinders only happens, when we get the point. The one making the point—no small challenge—needs expertise to get it across to people in a way that sticks.

Enter the King of Clarity (aka KoC): Steve Woodruff. He will help you find the point. Then he'll show you how to deliver it for maximum effect.

Whether it's advertising, operating a business, writing an email, conversing with others, conducting affairs of state, or even delivering a sermon, he's got you covered.

You'll learn the importance of more time devoted to getting things clear in your own mind, before you open your mouth, write that proposal, or lead a group. In KoC-speak: "Prune for punchiness."

Vagueness is a communication-blocker. I know a professor who writes "huh?" in the margin, when he doesn't understand the point a student is making. If you don't know what you're saying, don't expect others to.

On the other hand, when we're clear and to the point with people on what we're about, it's like branding a steer (what word-master Steve calls owning "a piece of memory real estate").

This is a book not only to read but relish and live with for the duration.

Short, easy-to-read chapters. Well illustrated. Full of zingers and stories. Engineered to hold your attention. Practical handbook. Who could ask for more?

If you write, you need this book. The business world is filled with content and noise, and our attention spans are getting shorter. How do you break through and get your intended reader's attention? You do it by cutting out the fluff and getting to "The Point." This is an incredibly helpful book that will improve the way you communicate.
