I have other books in this series (Mediterranean and Italy). I finally picked up this one. While the recipes look excellent, it's the text that is so delicious. I grew up in the Northwest, and have lived all over the region. This cookbook is a love letter to the region I love, exploring a topic I love to explore, the development of regional cuisine, and the source of those ingredients. I am so happy I finally got a copy of this book, and I'll treasure it as I explore more of my region through its recipes.
