Be careful on what you wish for. You just might get…and end up not liking it.

Apparently, dogs are no exemption from this saying. At least according to this book.

Cute story. Too bad his hoomans aren’t the creative type.

This book is a great picture book to read to younger children as the visuals within te book will engage childens interest. The book also has a great message within, it tells the story of a dog named Dog. The story follows him as he tries to get himself a new name, however as the story goes on it shows that Dog is happy with his name. The moral of the story shows children that it is important to be happy with who you are. A great story that could be used to demonstrate the importance of being confortable with who you are.

In this story, a dog is tired of only being called "Dog". So he does whatever he can to earn a new name. When his owners decide to give him a new name, Dog decides his name suits him fine. A great read for younger children!
