Great guide for leveling up in HR, with a focus on being yourself and being in touch with yourself (EQ). A good source for any HR professional wanting to step up and lead.
As a 20+ year HR professional, I was hoping to gain some new ideas and insights but this book is very basic and obvious. It might be helpful for someone newer to HR but I found it dull and did not finish (I quit in chapter 11).

The information in the book was good but I didn’t like the style. Too many movie and music references, personal stories with too many details, and a lot of promotion.
