But chasing the next level of competition brings its own challenges—and fears. The closer I get to the spotlight, the more chance there is that my family will track me down.

I thought book 2 of this series was a good improvement, I was engrossed in the story (I mean I finished it in basically a day haha). I thought the storyline was gripping, both the stalker, the other baddies, and the actual figure skating. Again I am a huge figure skating fan so I loved the details given for that aspect of the story. I loved how there were fumbles, not everything was perfect, but they kept pushing themselves to tackle the harder moves and their hard effort paid off! I loved seeing a competition and waiting for the scores (I could feel more nervous the characters were through the narrators performances and the authors words).
I loved seeing the steam amp up in this one. It felt natural, nothing was rushed this go around. I LOOOOOOVE Raphael, not gonna lie. Like I want him in my harem like right now haha. I loved how controlling he was in the end steamy scene hahaha. I was so happy to see more M/M and how they gradually moved things further without going all the way, if you know what I mean haha. So hot, I cannot wait til book 3 maybe when things go even further 😉🔥🥵. I appreciated everyone letting things out in the open, no secrets amongst the group, all the walls holding them apart were gone. Again this part of the story I was eating up haha. The baddies part was a little convoluted for me at times. A lot of jumping around/back and forth so it wasn’t as clean as it was in book 1. I was glad to see Lu be a BA and protect herself/give the guy what he deserved though! The ending was shocking, not gonna lie. I am intrigued by the twist the authors put in there. I thought there could be some chemistry based on a particular voyeur but wasn’t sure if they would go there and was glad they did! Can’t wait to see how that goes in book 3. And I knew the ending was coming in a sense. I thought she was gonna be kidnapped by her but same deal haha.
Again I can’t give this 5 stars because of the narration unfortunately. My comments from book 1 still remain. If this was duet and each of the male narrators could focus on their specific guy, then it would be 5 stars easily. When they had to do other characters it was all jumbled, especially when the female narrator had to do one of the guys voices. The accents just weren’t there or were being butchered. I would probably give the audio 3.5 stars if I could because they did do a good job on their particular character and all the emotion I felt throughout the story was on point. Especially when she had some fearful moments, worried about her guys and new friend OH and when Raphael finally opened up to Lu 😍.
Luciana's story continues as she and Jasper start their push to make it to the figure skating Nationals and beyond. Her stalker is still around and follows them to Boston where they hope to win a competition that will move them along. Lou finally tells Jasper and Niko about her mother and the crime syndicate she leads. When her stalker gets her into an a clash with the local crime lord, it will take some ingenuity and assistance from her men if she had any hope of remaining in Boston to skate. An old nemesis of Jasper's is also causing them some heartburn on the ice. Lou's problems just seem to multiply. It is a good thing she has Jasper, Niko, and Rafael on her side. Will they be enough?
Another cliffhanger, but an expected one. Just gives us a reason to watch for the next book! I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
Right now I’m cursing my need to see things through.
What we have here is a girl, who has been raised to be the baddest bish around but goes on the run and enters herself into figure skating comps under a false name that sounds so much like her own name and then questions how she’s been found when she’s asked to join the country’s figure skating team.
Honey, if I can find out someone’s details including date of birth, place of work, families information, address and contact information on a basic social stalk how did you think you were going to hide from the head of a world wide cartel.
So I’ve given this 2 stars, and I’m not entirely sure why. It’s not like the chemistry sizzles, or the FMC is an actual badass.
I’m all for fiction but when it’s so stupidly written …. Please find me a brick wall to bang my head against while I commence book 3.
Intense and suspenseful Smart, sexy and engaging writing. Lou was brought up in a life she has no interest in, she wants out and just wants to live her dream. Skating is her only source of peace. She is an independent and strong heroine. I love her attitude, she is able to navigate the threats coming at her while working on her skating career and building some seriously hot relationships. Her three guys each have their own different personalities that work great together. A cliffhanger ending and the stakes are rising. I am anxiously waiting for the next in the series. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed.
Luc and her men are back for the next exciting chapter in the crazy times that has become Luc's life. On the skating front things seem to going well with a few set backs as expected but the crazy stalker is a bit of a problem this time around. While we find out who it is, stopping him was a bit of an issue and caused a lot of trouble that kept me reading to the end. New characters are introduced and add to all the chaos and fun times. Enjoyed watching all the craziness and insanity as Luc finally tells Jasper and Niko about her past and the crazy stalker and watching everyone get close amongst it all. Just a fun easy read that is funny and wonderful as it sucked me in.
Non so, secondo me avrebbe funzionato meglio come solo sport Romance. Tra gli stalker e la mafia... C'è troppo di tutto.
Skating in new venue with new competition, including an old adversary of Jasper's. Things are almost perfect until it becomes obvious their old lives have not stayed in the past. Lou can no longer hide her past from Jasper and Niko. I loved how this unlikely group works together to solve the escalating problems.
I loved the adrenaline rush with the training and competition. I loved being in Lou's head as she tries to remain focused on her routine.
As always, ending leaves you eager to pick up the next one right away.
I received an advanced copy of this story and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
What a rollercoaster!!! 🙈😵💫🖤 I was not prepared for this book!, I'm still high in adrenaline for the wild, dark and twisted ride!!! ❤️🔥 I'm just so in love with Lou and the guys and everything they have acomplished; not just in the rink, but their relationship and also, themselves; they have grown so much since book one and I’m so happy for them! 🤗🥰 Now, when apparently everything is (finally) great... WTH does Quentin want?, is he involved with what happened in the last couple of paragraphs? 👀 🤔 Aahhhh!!!, can't wait to find out, the next book can't come soon enough!!! 😍❤️
I love everything about this series so far. 😍 The imagery of the figure skating, the characters very distinct and likeable personalities, the wonderful blend of the ordinary and extraordinary and the collision of two completely different worlds. But what I loved most about this book were the relationships within relationships. Even with someone who appears to be an antagonist, there's more beneath the surface than meets the eye. This series has pretty much everything I look for in a book and I am deep down the rabbit hole with this one. 😍
This is one hell of a ride. Dark, dangerous, twisted, we find ourselves hopelessly drawn in as Luciana's story continues. Action, drama, danger and twists and turns, the stalker is still out there stalking, whilst Lou and her guys try to get away and continue to build their relationships. It is such an addictive series, hot and sexy and steamy and Lou is turning out to be a strong and incredible fmc. She starts to open up and tells her guys some truths who are by her side when the trouble starts. So looking forward to the next book!
After coming clean about who she really is and the new development with Rafael they all are going to move together and registering for skate competitions for her and Jasper. She changes her appearance to try and stay under the radar of her mother. The staulker follows them to Boston.
This is the second book in the Blades of Havoc series. Contains MM. MPOV. Not to many Spivey scenes. This girl has got trouble always finding her. Good book.
I am enjoying Lou’s story, but this installment felt a little too tidy. I like the dynamics of her harem and the way they are slowly coming together. Her skating career is taking off. But her criminal past is catching up. Her way of dealing with threats against her and her guys seems a bit lackluster. I will continue to the next installment, but this one just kind of fell flat for me.
Lu and her men are back for more craziness. They all work together well in more ways than one. We get to see more of their relationships develop and also more of her men doing whatever necessary to protect her. We also see more of Lu’s ability to take care of herself. That ending was a doozy. Can’t wait for the next book.
I don’t know if it’s just me but I’m finding this series incredibly hard to read. The sex scenes are cringey, the whole dialogue just feels really childish and immature. Non of the characters are all that likeable and it’s just boring, I was hoping I’d find book 2 much more enjoyable but I’m not. I’m going to DNF this series unfortunately
Some bits I loved other bits were just a bit boring. I love the skating element and the passion on the ice is hot! Storyline is predictable and I did not like the idea of Quentin being in the group. Nikon hasn't even earned his place, his personality just falls flat. Something is definitely missing.
Luciana's skating career is taking off but the rest of her life isn't a good. Between her stalker and finally telling her men about her past and family things get quite complicated. There is plenty of suspense and action in this book to keep you interested.
Secrets have been revealed and things should be normal right?! Yeah I laughed too... things are definitely getting intense and interesting and just wow The narrators are amazing and I enjoy this series
I love Eva's books, but struggled to get into this series. Nothing in particular, just did not capture me as she usually does. Still a good read, well developed plot and charaters, good narration too on Audible.
This book was even better than the first! The plot thickens and the adventure into Lou and her men deepens. Wonderful read and the ending was hair raising!!!
The figure skating element is unique to the RH harem world and I am quite liking it. We get to know the characters a bit more and see them working as a group. This is fairly slow burn/lower heat. I am eager to see the next one and hope to see a certain 'mother' get taken down.
I'm on the edge of my seat here, was that a mild cliffie …yes In the scheme of things but my mind is going into overdrive wondering what's going to happen next.
What's going on with Quentin? I have so many theories about well everything!
The action in this series is a bit more subtle than the last two series and the skating and relationship building has been in the forefront. But I get the feeling things are about to get a lot more serious and a lot bloodier.
I can't wait to see what happens next I'm loving Raf, J and Niko and how their dynamic is growing and their relationship with Lou too.
I can't tell you how much I'm loving this series, story and characters. I like that it centers around figure skating and the Mafia. You'd think it wouldn't make sense but it really, really makes a good story. Lou is awesome and easy to connect with as a character. Rafael, Jasper and Niko have become my book boyfriends. And the story pulls you in. We get a few surprises in this book and the ending will leave you with a gasp. If you want something a little different but really intriguing then you should pick this up.
