This book is an easy read for beginning readers. It is an informational text that is easy for students to relate to. I would use this book when teaching a science lesson on seasons and/or animals. Students could also relate this book to animals they see in their environments at home during various seasons.

This extremely simple book might be a good choice for a one-year-old. Emerging readers, the intended audience I believe, will find it inane.
