I got this book at Salvation Army Thrift Store, what a great find. Love the stories in this collection. Thanks A.S. Mott for all the Halloween stories. I read them to my Nephew he thought they were cool and he's only 4.

i liked this book. my favorite story was one where a girl was stuck burried underground after a hurricane. But her favorite doctor helps her through it all talking to her and keeping her mind off of the fact that she might die. after a week of being stuck someone finds her and after she recovers she tells the doctors that Dr. Yamamato was stuck too but turns out he died in the earthquake. so his ghost was there. i reccomend this to someone who likes ghostly books.

I chose this book because I like ghost stories, I thought this would be one of the creepy types that would keep me turning the pages, much to my disappointment it wasn't. Some of the stories were alright, but most were crazily unbelievable.

Very nice stories. Simple and short read. The last story is the best.

Fireside Ghost Stories is an array of thirteen short stories, each on unique. From the hauntings of a strange and hideous tree standing outside of a castle built many years ago by a man for his new bride. To a pair of hockey players who grew up living next door to each other but vehemently hated one another on and off the ice.

A fun read.
