Stone Baby

Rate this book
This is a story of transformation and enlightenment, a symbolic journey through the inner life of a young girl still learning to understand her feelings. With hauntingly beautiful artwork, this is sure to become a classic in the older reader picture book genre.

This story of a girl who falls out of her window and finds a stone baby. She automatically takes the initiative and feels the need to nurture this stone baby. While taking care of this baby she endures exciting and riveting adventures that kept my attention. I honestly thought that this book was exciting and had a good plot, however plot indeed was dark. This isn't a book that is appropriate for the general audience, it is definitely a darker tale than most, which is why I only gave it three stars.
