this book is about a girl that feels bad about herself so she makes a big lie so that people start to like her. everyone believes her and she even her teacher congratulates her and has a party for her. when her parents find out that she had a party and lied big lie they make her trace her steps and say sorry to her class. her class gets mad a little bit but when she tells them the truth about how people were teasing her they are best as new. i liked this book because it made me wanna read more and more and i love these kind of books. i recommend this book to all people who like to read about girls and their mistakes.

Mallory tells a lie about winning this kids' fashion design because two girls laugh about it when
that's what she wants to be for career day at school. Then they throw a party for her winning.
And then her friend Joey tells her best friend mary ann and mary ann tells mallorys mother.
Then every thing goes wrong.
And she has to tell the whole world the truth.(and her very very very best friend Mary ann.)

Great book! I love this series. Girls series. This is one of my favorite books in the series! It's about how Mallory tells a big lie to the whole school and then she has to tell the truth. It teaches a great lesson about lies to kids. It teaches them, that if they lie they should always say they're sorry and tell the truth. There is some love in the books, but nothing too bad. I read it at 10 and thought nothing of it. It's not a lot of love at all. Great for girls ages 8-12.

This book is about being honest to everyone. But Mallory is not honest at the middle she is sort of lying about something. When the principal announced that the 3rd graders are having career day so they are having career day.Everyone knew what they were going to be except Mallory. Some were dancing, violinist, chef. When it was math time they stop talking about career day then when they got to lunch they stared talking about career day.Danielle asked Mallory what was she going to be Mallory said ''I don't know.''Arielle that she has to know before career day comes close. When Mallory wanted to talk to her best friend Marry Ann.Then she had to stop because Fashion Frank was on.That night

i think there is nothing wrong being a fashion designer because u get to create your own clothes and model it if you can and it is fun. i thought that the classmates who laughed at her were overreacting and being a bully.
