This is the book I am going to be teaching from, so gotta start tackling it now. A tip I got from my dean is stay 3 chapters ahead of the students and I will be fine. I will start reading it this weekend to be ready for Aug. 29th, my first class.
I have been an Illustrator user since version 7 (circa 1990's) but do not consider myself a "power user" like I do with Photoshop. However, my co-workers usually come to me with questions about Illustrator, so I guess that is a good sign that at least they are fooled.
By the end of reading this book and teaching the class, I do hope to become an Illustrator guru.
